I grew up eating that and my kids love it too on the very rare occasion I make fries. My brother's wife made that instead of buying salad dressings, which we thought was weird! My sons have always eaten the beans and cottage cheese, which I thought was unique until I saw it as the second entry here. As a kid I ate my cottage cheese with ketchup! (EEEWWW!!) | |

The oddest was my grandfather who loved aged limburger cheese with horseradish and mustard on black bread. And not just a little bit either, 1/2" slabs of cheese with loads of the horseradish. All I remember of the man is the stench on the rare visits.
I have simpler and mundane tastes... some cultural oddities... fish with horseradish, kimchee with rice & eggs, Borscht and sour cream, those giant fries (chips) dipped in wasabi vinegar.

My Husband and I always eat sandwichs with peanut butter and cheese whiz together put cheese whiz on one peice peanut butter on the other and put them together sounds gross but it's the worlds greatest combination lol | |

Posted: 10/28/2007 6:02:10 PM | | Well since i was a little girl i've eaten peanut butter ,ketchup and cheese on hot dogs...now my kids eat it too..it's fantastic, anyone i've gotten to try it, loves it..Theres a trick to it tho,,you have to melt the cheese in bottom of the bun..then add P.B.,,and put you hot dog on top of it so it gets real creamy and melty then add the ketchup..Yummy Yummy,,,,you gotta try it | |

After reading this thread I think it is official that cheese goes with anything and that dunking fries in a chocolate shake is way too common to call weird. I don't know what's better the frie with chocolate shake on it, or the hint of salt in the shake when you finally drink it. | |
