| How long have you been doing on line dating? Posted: 9/20/2007 12:23:33 AM | Hey Winter Sparkle,
That post of yours could be considered depressing. ...
But nope, I'm aint given in...Even if you are cuteter than I am!
There's got to be one gal out there not searching for a PRINCE, or KING...or something that a regular guy can't live up too.
THE ODDS ARE WITH ME!
Why your having a problem ,!!!! in, beats me

| How long have you been doing online dating? Posted: 9/27/2007 1:27:05 AM | | I met my g/f thru another site and we get along very well. I've been doing this for bout 2 1/2 years now. On-line dating does have it's pro's and con's. It does cater to the more attractive people. So if you are not all that in the looks department you will have trouble with on-line dating. | |

| How long have you been doing online dating? Posted: 9/27/2007 7:56:36 AM | 4 or 5 years . . The toughest part is finding someone that sees the 'Distance Thing' the same way . . !! Diastance is Insignificant...if two people feel strongly for each other . . {Give it a Chance . . !} I'd be more than Happy to make a move . . for the right person . . !!! ** I've 'Fallen-in-Love' _Several_ times, here . . ** just to be Dashed on the rocks of depression . . for the meaningless excuse of " Distance " . . !! | |

| How long have you been doing online dating? Posted: 9/27/2007 8:02:29 AM | | been at it for some time, couple of years and I must say that online dating is not what it seems..youd think with all those people outthere itll be easy to find a match but for some reason you always end up chating with the ones you put in your blacklist or your not attracted to....its very tricky stuff and at the end of the day you end up saying to yourself: ''are my standards too high or too low??'' | |

| How long have you been doing online dating? Posted: 9/27/2007 8:24:59 AM | On and off for three years on four different sites. The reasons I started aren't the reasons I stay. I do like the forums - I think hearing other people's opinions help to broaden my perspectives.
I've met a number of people and overall - its been a good experience. I know I like it better than TV!

| How long have you been doing online dating? Posted: 9/27/2007 8:48:43 PM | I have been doing this for 6 weeks now. First time I've ever tried anything like this . It has been a wonderful experience. I am very pleased so far .
I received so many lovely replies from nice gentlemen that I had to "hide" my profile after 3 weeks. Most all of them are "long distance". So we have to break the ice and get to know one another thou e-mails. It's time consuming and difficult. I couldn't find the time to communicate effectively with all of them. I find it difficult to have to "eliminate" a nice guy that I am communicating with because I prefer to give my time to someone else that I feel more connected with.
I am currently communicating with a wonderful man who is "Long Distance" and I'm talking over 3,000 miles! I don't know what the out come will be but for now I'm having much pleasure in getting to know him better.
I'm having a great time in POF and I love the forums too!
I think people that have been fishing on this site for a long time really do not want to be in a LTR or maybe they are just too set in their life style and too picky.
I wish for every one here a fun time fishing and a true love of your life.

*smile* Umm... after 6 weeks and a 'first try' its pretty understandable that you're enamored with the whole process... but I wouldnt be throwing stones at the people who have been doing this a lot longer... 'true love' is not always as easy as it appears at first blush. Not to discourage you, but... be careful - being new and inexperienced makes you more vulnerable than you think.
