Posted: 5/4/2006 10:28:54 AM | I'm hoping to make it down that night for the shindig. Lauren33 is a great hostess and I"m sure many of you can atest to that. I attended a couple of her parties in the past and have had a great time. Well worth the trip up from Ottawa. I've had a chance to meet some great people which have turned into new friends and great business contacts. Also played some fun games and had many a drink. I really like how Lauren takes the time to try and make it possible for everyone to interact with the games she has set up. From what I hear and have witnessed first hand, she always wants to see people happy and having fun so she works really hard to make sure everyone is having a good time even the shy ones. Im looking forward to it. Come one come all!
On a side note though, I've been hearing that quite of few guys dont have fun at Lauren's parties. I then learn that they've attendd the event with the intention of looking for a piece of 'action'. I can assure you if you go to those parties in that mindframe, you will NOT have a good time so save yourself some grief and dont come. It upsets me when people post messages saying they had a garbage time and that it was poorly organised etc...where in fact she's done a great job finding a great bar and doing all the logistics work to make the event happen.
It's simple fellas:
You dont like the sounds of the party then dont go.
If you get there and dont like it, then just leave.
And just because you didnt get your rocks off, dont go on this post and lay blame on the event. | |
