^^^ Are we having a technical breakdown?

How's any thread supposed to make sense with newbies gettin all confused (more than they already were) and flying off topic due to issues with the editing function?

This edit thing is getting ridikalus. I have to refresh the page at least 2 to 3 times to have any edit I've made to a post show up on screen. I think I'll go and have a moan about it on the Site Suggestions and Whingers forum.

Nevaagin, just try the 'refresh' button a couple of times (tell me you know what that means?) when you edit your posts and see if all becomes clear... either that or increase the medication? That might not help the actual problem but in my experience if you dose yourself with enough medication you'll forget all your troubles anyway.

Now to stay on topic... when I'm in a certain frame of mind I welcome crude and offensive emails. It gives me the chance to totally mind fuk the poor hapless saps. I almost feel sorry for them after I've finished with em. I think some of them may have even cried.

Nevaagin... that was a chat post^^^ ... and not on topic... just a warning as you could get severely slapped on the wrist if you don't at least try to stick to the rules.

The site is having problems with edit function and double posting I think? I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash.

Mackey... it depends on what mood I'm in. Right now all men are poo-heads and so are fair game for mental torture if they send crude and offensive emails. By the way, offensive is a subjective term ... some men offend me just by existing and will feel my wrath accordingly.

Often, once they've sewn em back on, they still have the ability to breed... more's the pity.

If that was an example I would say I became used to that on a monthly basis seems to coincide with other torturous behavior exhibited by woman every now and again.

Can I use sign language ?

Nevaagin - that's a wonderful way of dealing with offensive emails! Give 'em the stiff fingered salute!

Of course they won't know that you did it, but hey, at least you will know you did it and it's the thought that counts right?

I just had one. Some men do not like the truth. And I simply said I was meeting men from the gym right now, and my reason for stayng here are two things: friends, and the forums. I am taking an Abnormal Psych class, and am actually being given credit for posting in the forums. Of coarse, he read into my e mail as mean and a cut down, and it wasn't. He also had older pics....and did the typical "lash out" cry baby response. Some men cannot handle the truth or rejection. Even when we try to be nice. Oh well. NEXT...lol I delete and block them If they get that stupid in e mails, chances are they are certifiable nut cases in person. I rest my case, this is why I simply need to stop being nice and trying to be polite. One less Bottom feeder in my boat.

I had a delighful one the other day telling me how ugly I was...I laughed and thought um why did you bother messaging me?

I had another saying 'at your age' do you really you think you're going to score?

Again I laughed

Really all those messages are tell you who the person sending is...delete and block is simple

People can only really offend you if you respcect them first....otherwise their opinion or words cannot hold any weight.

This all comes down to one thing.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (unless you do it to them first)

It is unfortunate that most fellas will act like a tool , when they are online and I am 99% sure IRL they would not make that comment to your face.

It is also unfortunate that most people, male or female, do not understand the possible consequences of their actions.

Treat me like a piece of shiz, expect the same treatment back, and possibly then some. Treat me with dignity, respect and friendship and you will get tenfold in return.

This is why women much better understand the MOTIVE , the INTENT behind an action and guys wondering WTF they did wrong. Whether that be subtle or Bang, in your face.

Simple really

I can admit that I have regurlarly recieved offensive emails. However, like another poster mentioned, I find them hilarious. I show them to friends (guys and girls) who all have a roaring crack of laughter at it.

And it definitly does not disencourage me.

Im not a big fan of the delete/block thingy but this one would have deserved it.....alas he had closed his account before I had the chance.....and a forum poster no less!!

"hey hilly

you really are a sad case, huh? stuck out on your property, where your social life consists of posting on the stupid POF forums along with your other new age mates like namaah and myforumsite......

Never had a real relationship with anyone whilst in oz, and not hard to see why , those of us who remember your old profile know whata complete b1tch u r.

So enjoy spinsterhood, ya cow, and keep up with your oh "Im so cool i dont want to meet anyone " delusion whilst clearly you are desperate to meet someone, but lets face it, its nevr going to happen is it.

Go back to your pathetic life on the forums.....lower class british twat!

Shame he got scared and ran away....Maybe his Mummy confiscated his computer or something.

^^^^^ If the forums/internet dating does nothing else it builds up our resilience toward people who don't have any.

I have recieved some twisted and some crude and some down right rude e-mails..... I don't reply to the first one and then delete the rest without reading them .... At the top of our "sent mail" outbox you will notice that pof answers those e-mails for us ......

Hey if you see unread deleted don't be disappointed, some users (.01%) get 100 new emails a day if they have a great picture up. People like that don't have time to read your message even if they wanted to.

Can't imagine how much that must ruin their day .....

I actually find it quite funny especially when I receive nasty mail from people on the forums.....not that I very often do.

The particular poster who sent me the above gem was not even someone I had ever acknowledged in the forums. I had certainly never exchanged emails with him and really did not even know he existed......maybe that was his whole problem!

Probably he is someone in disguise....has been here before in the forums and bears a grudge. How sad to not even have the sack to appear visible in here and let people know who you are I reckon.

Good riddance me thinks.......he was a crap poster anyway!

It would depend on what would crude or offend me wouldn't it ? Not much surprises me about the human race and it's love of the gutter . Still I do have to watch MY tongue sarcasm wise , as this can hurt . I'm a freezing cold little vegemite this morning ... got to light the fire .

..meanwhile his social life apparently consists of writing abuse to someone on the internet who hasn't even noticed he exists. Now that's something to aspire to.

Wow Hilly! What a wonderfully senseless, nasty, sordid and pathologically vile email. I am so jealous. I am, by far, a waaaay more pathetic-deluded-spinster-cow than you'll ever be. Why don't I get mail like that? I think it's coz I'm not British enough. Damn you!

HA HA HA, I'm a guessing he's about 14 yrs old and Momsey did take his 'puter away.
Hilly's pretty sharp for a cow too.
Me thinks a lot of angry types really live to beat up others on the internet, right?

Hey, it’s a compliment to me to be linked to these well-respected awesome ladies. And it’s all about me right? LOL!

Actually I got another abusive email yesterday in response to a ‘no thanks’ reply. I always laugh but then sometimes I feel sorry for them. I mean, how sad and horrible is your life that you have to take your frustration and anger out on a total stranger who was pleasant enough to give you the courtesy of a reply, or in Hilly’s case, had done nothing to you. Maybe at least by them taking it out on us we are saving a poor defenceless dog from being kicked somewhere?

Sorry you had to cop that Hilly but thanks for saving a dog!

Good on you, Brianiac.
You have redeemed the whole male spieces and changed my disheartened attitude after receiving abusive emails from men whom I rejected politely.

Not sure if I should be frightened or delighted, as with my profile header, I'm not likley to get any emails: rude, crude or even the slightest bit disgusting.

I'm waiting to find the 'block' button though.

But I have to say, some of the 'banter' on this thread has given me a good chuckle tonight.
