| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/24/2005 1:27:31 PM | For all you ladies stating that it is not organized, I beg to differ because I am on top of everything, as I was right from the beginning when I suggested the event, time, location....etc.. (scroll to the top and read ALL of it)
I am asking for forsures, not maybes, not we'll see...forsures, and once I count all the recent forsures (I'm not counting the ones from over a month ago, because if they haven't relogged onto the site, it is likely that the have forgotten or have become disinterested in the site) at the end of this weekend, I will be reserving a section in Hudsons for the number of people I count. Naturally I will probably assume 10-15 people will be unaccounted for, as is usually the typical tendency of people to committ and then not bother to show up. I will also talk to the PR rep at the Standard and see if they will allow our group to go into the club without line and/or cover.

| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/26/2005 1:59:25 AM | Well after thinking for a long time i ain't gonna go 2 main reasons
1. Torn Calf Muscle not healing to well- Walking and standing on my leg is about much fun as having stepped on a nail 10 times
2. Why Bother going when i know the outcome- Waste of time and money to get get fancied up when i know i just might get beer dumped on my head then slapped and spat in the face and told to leave cause i don't belong hence why go when with aspiratons of meeting people and then leave feeling like a bug crushed by someone's shoes.

| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/26/2005 12:07:06 PM | Thank you everyone who is taking the time to post there committment. I really much appreciate it! :)
Furthermore, I went to The Standard last night and it wasn't that busy at first (11pm). It didn't pick up until later on, so I don't think getting in will be too much of an issue. However, after a bit, it picked up and was a good time.
I'm looking forward to our get together as it will be a good way to meet some new, exciting people.

| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/27/2005 11:28:09 AM | | I believe I committed earlier to this social gathering, but I must back out now, as I found out I have hockey that night at 11pm, and I really want to attend that game, as I am playing my former team, and thoroughly enjoy spanking them. | |

| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/28/2005 3:43:56 PM | Hey all,
I'm still in for both...any idea when people are showing up? I looked back over the log and I don't see any specific time. I hate to be the first one there.
Just wondering,

| what about edmonton???????? Posted: 3/29/2005 2:12:01 PM | Alright, I have everything booked for this Friday, April 1st at Hudson's at 8pm at (6107-104st (calgary trail south)) and then venturing into the Standard after an hour or two of socializing in the pub.
A section is booked in Hudson's for approximately 30 people under the reservation "POF" for 8pm (just look for reservation markers on the tables that says "POF"). Furthermore, our group is on the guestlist for the Standard afterwards prior to 10:30pm. So anyone that comes later and doesn't meet up with the main group at Hudson's, we are more than likely inside. If you go to the front entrance and say that you are under the guestlist under "POF" there should be no problem whatsoever, providing you are dressed appropriately (remember... sneakers, hats, torn jeans, and etc. aren't allowed), and it's before 10:30pm (don't leave it until 10:25, cause they may argue with you and say it's too late, especially if there's a long lineup). As it gets closer to the actual date, I'll write what I will be wearing, so there is one more marker that people can look for. It's advisable that you try to meet at Hudson's because it's more likely you will find our group of people in the pub. Once inside the standard, it may be difficult to find us because it's darker and busier in there. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. :)
If there are any questions, feel free to post them and I will try and answer them as swiftly as I can.
