I did note that one time when she was on anti-depression pills and I augmented them with alcohol, we screwed our brains out 27 nights in a row.
Her pills ran out, she sobered up and told me that she only needed it once or twice a month, the rest was for me.

Posted: 11/13/2006 10:16:14 PM | One problem here is that you are equating masturbation with sex... IMHO it isn't, at least not if it is done right. Nor does one preclude the other, by any stretch of the imagination.
I would HATE to have sex that was nothing more than mutual masturbation. Sex is a communication, a state, an expression of emotion. Sex is about you, your partner, the two of you, and generally speaking, when done right one focuses mostly if not completely on their partner. When 2 people do this similtaneously it is infinitely more powerful than a simple toss off.
Masturbation is a 100% self involved selfish act. In fact, it isn't even the same if done with another person present(and not nearly as powerful in sensation as sex). And there are many reasons for it. Aside from the obvious sexual release (sometimes it's nice to get release without the pressure to perform), it is also a release valve for tension, stress, insomnia and even boredom (maybe you were busy doing something you enjoyed and he didn't want to interrupt). Quite frankly I don't think there are any married men out there who do NOT masturbate, for these (and probably other) reasons.
It does not mean he doesn't desire you, or want to have sex with you. In fact, it couldn't be more not about you, at all, whatsoever. Even though you are married, not everything he does needs to be about or involve you. Back off and leave him be, if you pressure him about it, your sex life and reltionship WILL most likely suffer. If you continue to have issues with it, perhaps counselling will help you realize how harmless, healthy and even beneficial this can be for your relationship. I personallysuggest listening to Dr. Laura Schlessinger for a woman's perspective on the matter.
Finally, God forbid you should ever be incapacitated, or just not interested one day, isn't it re-assuring to know he can handle it on his own without having to look for outside assistance or remain unattended? | |

If a woman is threatened by her partner masturbating or viewing porn.... does she use a vibrator?.... where is the difference? Why do you care where he gets his appetite as long as he eats at home?
AND.... if it does bother you.... have you made yourself available anytime you are together?? Truth is, that is almost impossible.... we get sick.... we have responsibilities that burn us out beyond any desire for sex.... we have stuff happen in life that also turns us off that nite.... such is the stuff of life.
HOWEVER - we can be available for each other sexually at least 80% or more of the time we are together. Not saying anything is going to necessarily happen.... just that you won't turn it down...... in my experience, in talking to many females through the years.... most are not available sexually more than 50% of their time with their partner.... something is upsetting them and they do not communicate it..... so, they are not into sex that nite..... and the man sees it as witholding.... it isn't conscious, but that is what it is...... JMHO
