Sometimes people have different levels of libido also.
If you truly want your husband to feel like he can come to you what I would suggest is to sit down and make a agreement about how many times you both feel that you need to have sex in one week to feel nourished and satisfied. This way a man will not have a negative attitude wondering if he will be turned down.
I am not saying this is true in your case but I have listened to people who complain about not getting their needs met and in the majority of cases this is true. | |

Heck sometimes I'll even join in if he wants! Men like variety, and I would rather my man gets his variety from pictures and movies, and his own hand, than other women. It doesn't mean he doesn't like me or isn't attracted to me anymore, it's just a natural urge and better to give him permission to enjoy himself, than try to "forbid" him, which just leads to him lying and sneaking around with it. And yes, joining in can be fun too! I have definitely learned a few things from watching porn myself; I haven't had any complaints when I say "hey that looks fun, let's try it!"

I think many people fear it as a replacement; that they aren't 'enough' for their S.O., and they resent it.
I haven't been involved with anybody for many years so for me it's an outlet. If I were in that kind of relationship, I'd still want my private fun because it's .. well, fun. He can either share it or not, but it is not a statement that he's not good or sexy enough. When I'm with my man, it's got everything: the feelings, touching, etc .. that separate it, for me at least, from sex for the sole purpose of getting off.
Mind you: sometimes even with the S.O., that kind of raw frenzy is ALSO fun ..
Just don't confuse a simple need for sexual release with cheating on one's partner.
Another idea: someone else suggested you could ask your man. I mean jeepers, if you're up to that sort of stuff, that's mighty personal: can't you TALK to him?
... or are you scared of somehow stirring up trouble by addressing your feelings? It's up to you to decide if you're courageous enough to express to him what's going on for you. That's when you see how into you he is, not just the sex.
