Posted: 6/19/2006 10:04:51 AM | it really all depends on whar you are writing to them. if you actually write in regards to something on their profile and not just some generic message im sure you are more likely to get a response.
Another thing, some guys dont even pay attention to who they message. i have gotten the EXACT same message from guys more than once. which means its their canned/generic message they send to everyone.

I can agree that women like the flirtation at times but then it gets boring. I am way beyond that stage. Anyhow, for some people, this site is a popularity contest and some people feel the need to hear it from others at how beautiful they are. I am on here for the purposes intended in my profile. I don't glam myself up nor do I lie. Honestly, I have had a mixed bag of reviews myself. I get people that may leave me a message and then by the second email they lose interest - oh well. Or I get people that will spend the time emailing me back and fourth but then are totally not what they built themselves up from their profile - that means they lied, for the worst. I have people that could either take me or leave me on this site. I am not looking for people to tell me that I am a hottie (guys do that a lot for a pick-up line). I am not a hottie by no means, I am a simple person so I can tell when I am being lied to. So, please, sir, I feel your angst from this site but you also must know the shoe is on the other foot. And frankly, I hate the way it fits. | |

Consider this: A male friend of mine at work used to complain constantly about how women never paid any attention to him because he was heavy. Well, a young lady in my department had a crush on him and I suggested that he ask her out. His response was, "She's too fat."
Unfortunately, this is typical behaviour in young males of our species. Could that be part of the problem? Looking for flash instead of depth?
Fellas, remember this - big girls are the ones most likely to have an oral fetish...and we're pretty much all the same in the dark!

Talked to him for more then a month...shared everything...went on about what we would share...really liked me...etc etc...the wholes shabang. I was upfront with him and he knew I am a BBW and was actually looking for a BBW so THAT was not an issue. We had tons in common (as far as I know unless that was a lie too) We made plans to meet yesterday...we were going to spend the day together. Well guess what! He STOOD ME UP!!! No show..no call...no email...his cell was off. Tell me...WHY do you MEN do things like this???? Why would you go this far to get your point across that you really like someone..make definate plans and then blow the girl off? Give me a break!  | |

Posted: 6/26/2006 8:40:42 PM | I have looked at hundreds of guys on this site, and the one thing I can never get over is how horrible most of the pictures are. Face it, most of us want someone that we're physically attracted to. What do many people say attracts them to someone first? Their SMILE. Their EYES. Why in the world would you pick a picture like the one on your profile when it makes you look angry and it's such a terrible angle? Don't you, or many of the other guys on here, realize how much more attractive a nice, smiling picture is? Get a web cam. Experiment with good light, and for god's sake, SMILE.
Things that make me pass over pictures are frowns, pained looks, no expression at all, big facial hair (*ugh*), sloppy looking clothes, and shirtless shots where the guy is obviously in love with himself.
Present yourself in a way that a woman would find attractive and you'd be surprised how many more responses you get. | |
