Don't go on a date without your cell.
Don't go to a second location in their vehicle.
Don't go to their home or invite them to yours. (Don't tell them where you live.)
When you leave, make sure you aren't being followed.
Don't entangle yourself with someone you haven't met in person.
Be mysterious for a while, at least until you have time to judge whether they are sincere or not. It takes time to get to know someone. No one who is sincere will judge you because you take your time. If they do, you won't have lost much.
I know that this reeks of paranoia. It is not paranoia; it is living smart. | |
