Posted: 10/28/2007 4:31:42 PM | I am agree with dunnrunnin2. I realised that most tall men would ask me out, I thought it was because being a short woman I would be closer to them if I hang them...I am sure looking at the titties does that too.

Idon't believe its deliberate, just chance, Be secure in yourself enough to date who your attracted too without worrying about the height difference. Be proud of who you are. By the way short men are more adept at certain things behind closed doors...especially with a taller woman............ | |

I dont need protecting... although I like men to be protective of me.. does that make sense lol... I dont want to date someone shorter than me that I feel like their mother or China the wrestler standing next to them... and I get the emails all the time from the short men that loooooooove tall women .. but I dont care for short men.. not my fault Im tall and no its your fault your short but o well lol ... wasnt meant to be  | |

Actually I do not use height as a criteria. I am used to being taller than most people. I do not stop to think that 6ft females probably have a tough time meeting guys they like that are taller than them. They aren't exactly beating down my door to say hello though... | |

Posted: 12/3/2007 2:25:26 AM | I don't think the problem is so much why do tall men date short women, as it is why do some short women insist on dating MUCH taller men? If you look at the personal ads of other sites you will notice women under 5'2" that won't date men under 5'10" or even 6'0" or taller. I am 5'5" and have been turned down by women simply because I am not tall enough. Though I did date a woman a few years back who was 5'0" and she had never dated anyone under 5'9" til she dated me, she said I gave the best hugs. Unfortunately things didn't work out for us due to religous differences, but atleast now she doesn't have that "phobia" of dating a short man.
BTW, I am not bitter, any woman that doesn't want to date me because I am vertically challenged, well that is her loss. And I have dated women as tall as 5'11", and had a long term relationship with a woman that was 5'7". | |

Posted: 12/3/2007 2:54:51 AM | I am 6'1" and I have run into men my height and taller and the response has either been yay or nay. The ones that say no, have said that they are afraid I will put on 5" inch heels and will end up being taller than them, and they end up feeling small. I was like hey wait a minute, who is wearing 5 inch heels?! Those are hooker heels! LOL. By the way I don't wear high heels just a nice heel with my outfits, nothing outrageous.
Anyway I would say that it is even now. I don't have a height requirement though, I am more open to learning about the person than their height. However, I have found that many people have different preferences. If they have an issue with my height then I move on. I am sure there will be that perfect man for me who is okay with all of me.  | |

I did go out with a girl of 4-10 in the seventies , she wore flat shoes and I wore platforms so we looked riduculous !!
