Posted: 7/7/2007 1:55:49 AM | | At 6'4", I feel lucky not to fall short of anyone's high requirements. I've been with women as tall as 5'8". I married a woman who is 5'1". Height really doesn't matter to me but if I had to choose I'd take the taller woman. It seemed to me like the taller ones were made for me. Our bodies fit together perfectly when holding each other. I was very attracted to a woman I met who was an even 6'. I'm not sure whether I'd like it if a woman was taller than me but I've yet to meet one who was, not that they don't exist. I don't think I'd have any problem with it. | |

Posted: 7/16/2007 3:57:53 PM | Hey, I'm 6 foot 2, some men like it, some hate it, and some are indifferent to it, while some consider it a novelty. Mick Jagger's current gf is apparently 6 4 and he's 5 8.. and Jerry Hall was 6 feet, so some men have great taste  , and some men prefer taller women. I dunno where someone got the idea that tall woman like short men, sure some do, but it's all subjective, height shouldn't matter THAT much, but it does matter to some extent. I've dated a guy 6 6 before, and I certainly never fell in love with him, there's a lot more important things to consider.
Of course I prefer tall men, well hell, even a 6 foot tall man is a couple inches shorter than me, but thats fine. My ex was 5 10 and he was freakin hot lookin  , a jerk but hot lol......So...do not be bitter about your height, you can't change it, and short people can't become taller. If they don't like it f em  and of course I'm not talking literally here lol. Some men assume I'm a dom, just because of my size.. NOT lol. Also, being tall is kinda trendy today so embrace it bitter woman, because your bitterness is only hurthing yourself ....

I've noticed this, anyway. It seems that the majority of tall men seem to date deliberately short women (I'm talking 6ft6 guys with 5ft0 women). Are there any tall guys out there who like tall women?!
...I'm a bitter 6ft1 woman, in case you hadn't guessed ;)
I haven't read the whole thread but thought I would point this out. Short guy might say the exact opposite. He's bitter because all tall girls will only date tall guys. Will you date short guys ? Height shouldn't matter it should be about the feeling that you have together. | |

Thoughout my dating history, i'd have to say that an average height of the women I've dated to be closer to 5'5".........just the way it's worked out.
Not to slight any tall women out there, but it seems to me that the shorter women are a lil' more aggressive when it comes to persuing the taller guys.........maybe this has a little to do with the tall guy/short woman scenario?? | |

Posted: 8/30/2007 3:53:26 AM | I prefer a tall lady in most cases as they make a wonderful partner for anything. I'm 6' 1" tall myself. It really depends more on what the person is like inside, common interests, etc.
Mosy tall women come on as bossy, not all, but it is a turn off deluxe. | |

I know I'm always on the lookout for one!
I think shorter men are more aggressive. I get asked out constantly by men that are 5'9" and below. I just can not date a shorter man... Hence... I am single!!
So 6'6" man of my dreams... If only you lived closer to my neck of the woods.. I'd find some one worthy a chase... Would you run like hell, or let me catch you...

Maybe a niche dating site like tallhub.com is a good idea for those tall girls and tall guys. Such a discriminatory site would only help the women, not the guys. A tall guy with his sh!t together basically can cherrypick whatever woman he wants to date on whatever website or more importantly In Real Life. Such a site like Tallhum can only help desperate tall women. | |

A tall woman can blame her height on dating if she's talking about men shorter than her. Most shorter men won't approach or try to date taller women. Some do, most don't. They don't because 99 percent of the time a woman won't date a shorter man.
But if we are talking about men at her height or taller, they just don't find her attractive. They don't like her looks, her personality or her assortment of personal baggage.
I guess a tall woman in the former situation can make a case about how it's not easy to be a tall woman. (I'd say 5'10 and above as a woman probably creates issues) But tall women in the latter situation are just finding something to blame because no one wants to ask them out to dinner. | |

So smaller women are preferred, and taller men are preferred. The taller men just ask out the smallest women that aren't considered dwarfs. | |

S hips, round butt, big lips, and killer smile....oooh ..there are no many out there built like that, but when I see one...ooh mama...of course some men like the model type, with rip cages all hanging out....we are different...you just have to find the one who likes your body type.. | |
