Advantages:
Women love tall guys.
Easy to reach things
In my case great for karate,kickboxing and boxing,because of long reach.
Intimidating to others not so tall
Have more clothes to fit in
Have an excuse to use your mother's or someone else's shoulder as arm rest if they're shorter then you.Like I do.LOL
Alot more hugging to give.LOL
Being tall makes it harder for a balding on top head to show to others.
Disadvantages:
Easy to hit slanting downward ceilings on top of stairway.
Uncomfortable seating in airplanes
Need to bend to take shower
Back problems are very common
Toilets seem so freaking low especially in Chinese restaurants.LOL
Have to stretch your legs to side in car if you are stuck in back sitting behind someone else who is tall.
Can't take baths only showers otherwise legs and feet stick out of the bath.
Being tall might not look good if you are slim.
Have to slide body down in chair so your hair dresser can cut your hair.
Have further to bend to pick something up off floor (can be a pain in the ass if that something else is heavy as hell)
These are only a few advantages and disadvantages I can think of at the moment.
As far as women are concerned I like shorter women. I prefer women who are 5"2 to 5'5.

No but seriously I do like shorter women,I want to be able to look down in my woman's eyes as I'm sure she would like to be able to look up in mine.I've always had a thing for short women.I don't mean shorter then 5"2 though because that's a midget.
May seem weird but that's my preferance despite my height.I won't go out with a girl that is as tall as me or a just a little bit shorter,to me that is too tall for a woman.

Im only 5'6 and even "I" find the toilets in them Chinese restaurants too low for me! LOL But for some reason, I keep getting told that Im 'just the right height" but I'd like to know for what? For all you tall ones out there - please tell me what you're referring to - and NO, Im not talking about arm rest comments! :P | |

I love tall women. It make is so much easer on my back when I slow dance with someone around 6’.
But I cant rule out the short ones either. I can see down your tops if you ware that low cut blouse. (Evil Grin)

Posted: 9/23/2004 3:05:32 AM | Tall sucks! Sorry, had to say that, just b/c I'm not. I'm 5'9" barefoot & it completely bites! Cant buy a pair of jeans w/o having to have them tailored. & it makes for some interesting dating too. Ever lean over to kiss your date while standing & realize you have to look up? OK women might be used to this but, I'm not. My last ex was exactly the same height as me but used to wear these shoes w/ really chunky soles so, I always had to stretch a little. It's kinda odd.
I suppose there are advantages to being a shorter guy. Like, I remember in school when playing football in Gym class, for the first few times I never got picked early. But, that changed when they saw that I could squeeze through stuff that those 6' 4" + guys would get stopped by. Plus it helps being built like a f-ing tank! The opposing QB usually just laid there, stunned, wondering WTF just hit him!!! Never underestimate short people with an atttitude. Feeling 10' tall & bullet-proof & don't mind proving it. | |

Posted: 9/23/2004 4:42:34 AM | | being tall sucks..i got so many knots on my head from hitting it..also all the work i do..is on a machine that i have to lean or bend over to do..im 6'4" ..im taller then most people i know..i hit my head on shandlers alot..cause people have them low enough for them to walk under..but not me..everyone ask you to reach something for them, some think this is and advantage but i see it as a disadvantage.. im also kinda fat..or big..the size of a football player i guess...i weigh about 305 lbs.. | |

I try not to rule anyone out from the start. I've dated taller (6' 0") & much shorter (like 4'11, short) & I gotta say when you're actually in a relationship you don't really notice the height thing. Well, not to the point of feeling uncomfortable. That's my 2 cents worth for now. | |

It was great, we laughed so hard about that. When I took off my shoes he had to practically double over to hug me. I prefer my men really tall, and I don't mind dwarf tossing one little bit! LOL | |

omg..i must be the smallest one here..i love wearing my heels..every single guy i have been with is 6'0 or over...the talest was 6'4.
