| why are all the good ones so far away?
Posted: 7/10/2007 4:51:14 AM | I'm not always sure that it is the case that they are so far away, as much as we now have the opportunity to look further afield. Even thirty years ago no one would have considered chatting with someone in another state, let alone another country. It does make a difference. Now what you have to decide is how muh time and effort you are willing to put into pursuing that relationship and whether or not you are willing to go the distance - either moving half way or the whole way. And that's not to say it is one sided. Both parties have to make that decision, together.
But if you think that they are all so far away, perhaps you are just not looking at the people closer to you the same way. Perhaps you are overlooking equally interesting, much more available individuals because the distance seems to put a more romantic spin on things. Its all about how you view what is going on and the people around you. Good luck  . | |
