Posted: 5/11/2006 9:26:52 AM | I took this from my blog but this is a sampling of the kind of e-mail I get in any given week (this would be from several different sources; not just PoF):
3 men who sent me pictures of, shall we say, their equipment. Poor lil' fellows. I'm sure they are quite accustomed to the words: "Are you going to screw me or erase me?"
One gentlemen who kindly offered to let me "take care of him before he leaves for Iraq in one week". That's a direct quote and the entirety of the e-mail.
One man who pondered the question "Can U blow smoke rings with those lips?" Yep, that was all of that e-mail.
One man who sent me nothing but a picture and an e-mail address. Yeah, I just feel head over heels for THAT one. You know me; I love a man who has a way with words...
One gentleman who on first glance seemed fine but had several blogs devoted to "Killing those Mutherf**king Towelheads". Because, you know, all Muslims are terrorists. And they all wear towels. Seriously.
Also, that's the sound of me running as fast as I can from that racist freakshow.
One guy who stated " you definately know how to get me going ...would you wannna have fun sometime" I don't think he cleared that with his wife though.
And finally: This charming offer from a 19 year-old woman who stated: "My boyfriend wants to go at it with you sometime. Or maybe you could come join us"
Yeah, no. Just NO.
Internet dating is FUN.
And by fun I mean "Psychologically scarring".
At least it gives me good material for my blog, eh? | |

OMG Ladydi8 . . . just about gave myself a hernia reading that.
I have changed my profile on here stating quite blatently that I'm very much TAKEN, I've even put up pics of my sweetie . . . but the dudes are just SLOW and they don't GET IT . . . I still get perverted eMails . . . so I have a GREAT solution . . . let the_armorer2002 take care of all your sicko problems . . . I let HIM reply to the letters I get . . . I usually don't hear back from the poor fools after they pick their jaws up off the floor and get a sponge-bob bandaid for their wounded pride. My baby can be rather un-gentle . . .

.....sometime last year i remember i got a slue of fishmail from foriegn dudes wantin to come over here ta marry an impregnagate me........however i managed to hold myself back from those tempting offers...course i gotta know if its me thats turnin a guy on or a lil green card...

I think a lot of men feel threatened by women who have strong opinions, but I would never troll someone's profile and take the time to tell them you think they're a douchebag. What's the point? Though, some people actually do get my sarcasm and send nice mail.
Guys who have a quick wit that comes through in an e-mail always win over guys who spill their life stories or say "u r hot, lets bone". And IMHO, spell check is key. | |
