| Would you ever juice?[use steroids] Posted: 10/16/2009 4:37:53 PM | Squelch definitely has more than 10# left in him, lol.
230 and 9% is a life-goal and may not be possible naturally.
Yes, I know what 9% looks like, I was mid 10's for a while and am probably currently low 11's/high 10's (mid 170's body-weight).
Basically, to hit 230, you are going to do a SLOW! clean-bulk over years and years, or a slightly faster dirty bulk up to 250-270 or so and then cut. 230 and 9% at 6'1 is rediculous, and I do think that all-natural this borders on either impossible, or impractical. Impractical in that to do it, you would spend a TON of time balancing your nutrition/training and would neglect other important aspects of life.

Agree with the conclusions in the article . Though needless to say, there are exceptions. But if were one of those exceptions, you would already know it by now. Kelly Baggett concluded something similar in that most of the competitors in natural events, at 5'10 are usually 170-180lbs on stage.

Way more than that. You constantly hear of people getting to enormous levels of bodyweight and strength naturally, are people honestly trying to say that every single last one of them bar none is lying and have used roids? I doubt it.

^^^^^^^^^ Great find.
This calculator seems to be quite accurate -- at least for those with great genetics:

Lol
I surpassed my 'genetic limit' within two years of training and kept gaining at a decent rate and am still gaining now.

It's probably assuming that lean mass is less than 200 lbs for all humans and it is adjusting upward for above average bone mass.

I don't buy it, according to Martin Berkhan’s Model I have already pretty much reached my genetic max at 175#@10.5% and 5'10.5" (his model says max is 180# @ 10% at 5'10, so I am pretty dang close). I am only a HAIR away from it. Somehow, I don't buy that.
This calculator looks much more honest, claiming that at 10.5% body-fat I would max out at 201#. http://www.weightrainer.net/bodypred.html

| Would you ever juice? Posted: 11/17/2009 6:37:46 PM | I have cycled in the past and was well aware of possible side effects and what measures to reduce those side effects and I loved my first cycle.
I would definitely suggest one who is considering pertaking in performance enhancing drugs to do diligent research before diving in. Yes there are side effects as with any drug so steroids are no different but they are not as dangerous as many in the media and ill informed individuals try to claim. Steroids have existed for almost 80 years now and have very legitimate medical purposes in both men and women.
Many were developed to help heal not harm.

| Would you ever juice? Posted: 11/17/2009 6:53:39 PM | | I agree. People **** about steroids, yet they go out and drink alocohol or use nasty street drugs. Gotta love it. I do not see anything wrong with it as long as people educate themselves and perhaps get some help, and not just do things without research. | |

For bodybuilding one's natural max tends to be around 195 lbs. at 5'10" (add/subract 7 lbs. per inch to adustjust for height) with true single digit bodyfat for someone with good genetics.
Stop quoting GH-15 from getbig. Nice try, LOL
