And Jack Sparrow? Gimme some of that!

| Would you date a man who wore makeup? Posted: 5/3/2009 2:00:23 PM | | I can unequivocally say I would NOT date a guy who wore make-up. As a matter of fact; even with women, I prefer as little as possible. | |

| Would you date a man who wore makeup? Posted: 5/4/2009 4:34:48 AM | | I've seen bus ads and posters for a whole line of make up for men recently. I think revlon's making it. One poster was actually lipstick for men. Judging by the severe prejudice and double standard women seem to have when it comes to primping, I'm guessing they'll be losing lots of money with this line of products. What's funny is that in every other species, it's the male that has all the bright colors and the females that are usually bland. | |

| Would you date a man who wore makeup? Posted: 5/4/2009 4:48:36 AM | | Well, I saw a profile of someone who has makeup on. He is an entertainer so that is why he wears it. He also has 'everyday' pics up also where he isn't wearing any. That is something different. People that are into the Goth scene wear it everyday and since it is a part of who they are then I don't see anything wrong with it. But if it is someone who isn't a part of a 'culture' and wears it everyday then I would I question that. I can't take anyone seriously that way or see myself touching up my makeup alongside a person who is doing it also.....he may want to use my makeup. | |

LOL! Yeah, kinda makes you feel that women who apply red and blue to their lips and eyes, and color their hair yellow/blonde, the most rudimentary (remedial, lol) colors, are really saying that we human males are among the slowest students in the class of creatures. Lol. They may have a point.

| Would you date a man who wore makeup? Posted: 5/4/2009 7:09:48 AM | OT on the male colouring thing though: I work with ornamental fish. And yes, mostly the male is much prettier than the female. In the fish world the female has almost all the power. The male needs to stand out and make himself visible or the female will ignore him. She will mate with the biggest, strongest, most colourful male, as he is the one most likely to have strong offspring. And when it comes to predators she's even more wily. If you are a predator, which fish are you going to eat? The drab grey one sitting still or the pretty, flamboyant one showing off in front of her? After all, the ratio of most harem breeders is one male to 6 or 7 females, so if the male dies, there is likely to be more than one female sitting on eggs to bring up more males. And there are always more males ready to take his place.
And now, back to your regular programming

| Would you date a man who wore makeup? Posted: 5/4/2009 7:13:26 AM | The last man I had a long term relationship with was an entertainer - and he wore makeup...I wouldn't recommend dating an entertainer OR a guy who wears more make up or hairspray than you do....
Use to tick me off when I'd go to do my hair or makeup and couldn't find it or it was gone! LOL!
