What goes on at this type of thing? Is it an artsy type deal, music festival, or just a pre-stampede party?
As I remember (driving past it), they close down 4 street, and its usually packed. I wonder if the restaurant patio's would be open during this thing. | |

Posted: 5/18/2007 11:55:29 AM | It's a giant street festival, that features local artisans, performing arts, beach volleyball, beer gardens, and 100's of vendors selling and advertising their products or services. Lots of fun, and it has something for everyone. Usually, 4th street from about 13th ave to Elbow Drive is shut down. The after parties continue at Ducky's Pub, where they have a huge outdoor beergarden. Usually it is always super hot, followed by rain! Fun all around though. I don't have time to arrange an event, but if some people want to meet at one of the beer gardens at a certain time, I'd be into that.
Patios are especially busy this day. | |

Posted: 5/19/2007 10:19:12 AM | Central Man, sorry I can't set it up as an event. Sadly I am not finished DB practice until 1 pm and will not even be able to make it down there until 2:30.
If you want to go, best time is when the festival opens up around 11:00 am.
Yes there is plenty of eye candy especially if the weather is nice both guys and girls
Plenty of musicians, many salsa dancers
Be prepared to bring money!!
I'm sure someone will happy to set up a meetin place and go from there.
