So, by this theory, are male pet owners desperate too?
Silly me, I thought this was a light hearted fun thread. Amazing how some just look for threads to use the words "desperate women" in.
Some people sure need a big old sloppy puppy kiss. Next time my rotties and I go walkies, and we see a disapproving man watching us, Titan and Theodore will to happy to lick the disapproval off their face.

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 1:11:36 PM | It's probably just me, but when I see photos of women like Paris Hilton cuddling their cute little dog I can't help but feel all warm and fuzzy. It reminds me of a poem that I read many years ago.... ' My love you take my breath away What did you step in to smell this way ' | |

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 1:22:59 PM | | coug, when I look at that idiot, paris hilton, with her cute little puppy, all I think about is when did it become all right to use another being as a fashion accessory, and why do these brainless twits think a purse is the place to keep a dog for hours every day? | |
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 1:44:35 PM | | ` Why Judy, whatever do you mean? This young lady has everything including a t-shirt that reads " I wish these were Brains " Don't despair for her...a lot of people have no talent. | |

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 1:49:50 PM | | My daughter just stopped by and brought her new “puppy”. That puppy was a frisky male 30-35 pound package. My mutt a 10 lbs 9yo female was beside herself - there had never been another dog in HER HOUSE - let alone a young stud muffin like that one. | |

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 2:31:31 PM | Couldn't resist these doggie bait story.
Chester, a 120 lb. rottie gentle giant of mine was being harrassed by a 12 lb. dog to the point of trying to get his favourite toy away, while the little dog was supposed to be learning a dog obedience command. Finally, Chester gently picked up the little dog, took him over to his owner and spat the little dog at his owners feet (without a scratch of course).
Titan, another larger than usual rottie of mine, within a period of about 5 mins. had a tiny poddlex jump on his head and hang on his ear. Titan, with poddlex still attached to his head, walked over to me, with a look on his face that said "could you please remove this annoying mosquito". Doggie bait can go both ways.
In canine datingland, male dogs are taught by the mothers to be respectful of female ****es

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 5/13/2006 5:55:48 PM | I loved your stories Moraima!
Reminds me of when I was talking to this guy -- both of us with our dogs on leashed. The retriever lifted its leg and my yorkie walked underneath & got a "golden" shower. I don't know if my dog suffered more from shock or embarrasment.

My rottweilers work as man repellent A pack of rottweilers would get a man's attention. Do you let men know about them before the meet up?
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/22/2009 6:59:46 PM | You are much too sexy in your pics to need a DOG to attract men. Something's fishy here
edit.. Oh.. why EIGHT years YOUNGER.. but only TWO years older? as far as your selected age parameters?
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/22/2009 7:38:37 PM | my doggie would eat the poor guy...

not a great idea! | |

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 9:42:54 AM | I won't date.. or even approach a woman with a dog bigger then me..!! ---SoledierByte--- | |
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 11:16:28 AM | "I always wondered whats with all the 5 foot tall women having 125 pound dogs? Seems like a little dog would be easier to handle."
Not at all. Size doesn't matter, training does. There are some breeds that are exceptions, but you'd never find them out being walked anyway.

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 11:19:37 AM | YIKES..!!! I DID misspell my OWN name...!! and it's been reg.®

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 11:26:06 AM | People love my Basset and approach in droves. Drool rules. I just feel like such a "dog pimp" I usually leave her home.
Kind of like the hot dog man using his hot teenage daughter to sell hot dogs in Daisy Dukes. I do have private pics I will mail out to attract others.
No you don't look married with a dog...
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 11:39:36 AM | | I absolutely love dogs...I can't have one now as I'm in an apartment - so a man who has one is a plus to me! | |
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 1:39:08 PM | "Do you let men know about them before the meet up? "
Well the photos of me with Rottie and German Shepherd pict. should be a clue.
From my profile.................I own two Rottweilers. Men with small cross breeds would probably not be good matches. Is that clear enough?
I could have said "no men with Paris Hilton dogs", but decided to play nice.

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 2:08:45 PM | ^^^LMAO ... at least she lets them know up front that if they show up with little doggies they are liable to be "tender morsels" for her dogs.
If I had a dog ... I'd let him know up front. My dogs have always slept on my bed with me so any man who is not prepared to share the bed with the dog as well ... probably needs to move on along to the next profile.
|
| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 2:09:32 PM |
People with dogs are more approachable. Is it too obvious to take along a cute pup or does it make you look desperate?? ^^^Yah, I'd say you are desperate if you are "borrowing" someone elses dog to try and pick up a man^^^
To love me is to love "Jagger" my gorgeous 85lb Golden Retriever. He is my constant companion. Although he is definately my dog he is a pretty good "magnet" when it comes to attracting attention. Both men and women approach us when we're out walking.

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 2:14:52 PM | Cotter - Msg 47
Most likely they sleep with me as well. Any man who is not prepared to share the bed with the dog as well ... probably needs to move on along to the next profile. Thanks for the warning. Don't worry, any movement they would attempt, would be in opposite direction.

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 2:22:05 PM | It depends on how well behaved your dog is. My dog is too fat (mea culpa - but he's been on a diet for four years and I truly feel his pain)..and he's into everything. My ex took him down to the pier yesterday when he went squidding with his grandkids and evidently Woody made a mess of himself. Into everything to the point where he got his tail caught in fishing lines..but everyone loved him..my ex said half the people on the pier were calling "Woody...Woody.."..lol.. So, I'd say if you've got a rather splendid specimen of doggiehood, you'll get lots of admiring looks and comments. But if you've got a mongrel like my little man, be prepared for lots of guys to tell you what you're doing wrong...lol... | |

| Doggie Bait? Posted: 9/23/2009 2:39:29 PM | "at least she lets them know up front that if they show up with little doggies they are liable to be "tender morsels" for her dogs."
Teder morsels.............nah! I have seen runaway 5 lb. fluff balls grabbing onto my dogs ears and hanging on for dear life more than once. My dogs (yes this has happened with more than one of them) look at me as if to say "can you please get the annoying mosquito off my ear please?"
The warning is more about letting the men know that I have no patiences will untrained brat baby dogs.
"whats with all the 5 foot tall women having 125 pound dogs? Seems like a little dog would be easier to handle. " I have no desire to have a dog that is breakable, and too low to the ground to be safe in a snow storm. There is no way ever, I would get involved with the puppy pad crazy for the nontoilet trained yappers. If you want something small.............get a cat.

I used to own two large Bouviers. They also didn't think much of those wet dust mops.
