The passion quotient is high, and so are the problems. Emotional Pisces is too easily hurt by thoughtless Gemini. Gemini is mischievous and playful, but Pisces is sensitive and takes things to heart. Each practices deception in his or her own way: Gemini dissembles, Pisces won't deal with reality. Gemini needs freedom and new vistas; Pisces needs unending adoration. Pisces just can't feel secure with gadabout Gemini, and tries to pull the net tighter. The claustrophobic atmosphere eventually makes it hard for Gemini to breathe.
I always thought the fish sign gets along with everyone...I guess I suffocated him... again live and learn. | |

For instance Lybra will do well with Gemini because they balance the issues and don't really let anything bother them. Lybra women have a way of calming people and letting it run off thier back.
So my words to you Geminis out there looking at this is..
Don't let these people bother you,!!!
Be yourself and there are compatible people for you out there, just be careful who you choose.
But isn't that really good advice for everyone??... regardless of your sign. | |

Posted: 6/3/2008 3:59:42 AM | | have been reading this thread with interest and amusement, i am a gemini, do we have two personalities ?, yes to a certain extent, but then so do a lot of other signs, my last relationship was with a piscean and brother was that hot and cold, i would have to walk on eggshells at times, she would be loving, caring, affectionate and a very sweet person, even after a few drinks, one sip of the next drink and she would explode like a bomb going off over anything that didnt suit her, throwing insults and abuse at anyone and everyone who disagreed with her point of view, very often telling me to get out of her house and f.... off, and then couldnt understand why i walked away, so i dont think you can put it all on geminis, everyone is different, you have to take people as you find them not on there star sign, thats my opion anyway ........ | |

Sorry.... Seriously, the Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde stuff was always catching me off-guard.
One minute he was sweet and playful, the next he was barking orders.
Yeah, coulda been because he's a hot headed Greek... or his narcissistic tendencies.... but for the sake of this thread, I'm goin' "GEMINI"!!!
OK, you struck two cords with me so I had to respond. Yup, that's right...a Greek Gemini here. LOL Minus the hot head and the narcissistic tendencies of course. :)
Contrary to popular belief, the Jeckyl and Hyde trait is not common in Gemini's. Are we subject to changability? Sure we are, but not in the typical Jeckyl and Hyde fashion. We get bored easily and like change. We may get quite at times but this doesn't mean we're angry at the world. We're just tired of talking and thinking at very high speeds for most of the day. LOL Most Gemini's I know - including myself - are funloving beings who enjoy life and other people. When we get irritated it's usually because someone is trying to ground us by clipping our wings.
As far as Greeks go? Not all are hot headed....but we are passionate! We voice our opinions strongly and aren't afraid to express our feelings. Some people take that the wrong way but those are usually the types of people who, in my oponion, are too politically correct and are afraid to rock the boat. If you want someone who's going to mince their words don't date a Greek...or an Italian for that matter.
You're a Taurus and a Gemini is not your best option. Taurus' are fixed with their feet planted firmly to the ground. They rarely can keep up with a flighty Gemini whi literally can be in 5 places at the same time. Stick with water and earth signs...they're your best matches. | |

They are big mouths who can't keep their traps shut and total control freaks. The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing is a reality with Gemini's but the worst thing is that they are usually Mr. Hyde with brief intervals of Dr. Jekyll. It's like being on a dunking stool (or worse) to be in a hopeless relationship with a Gemini. If I find out a potential man for me is a Gemini, I roll out of there like a burrito, and fast!!!

Soft yet forceful
opinionated but values the opinions of others
loving yet not overpowering
stable but willing to take risks
confident but seeks attention
intelligent and articulate though not arrogant
I feel the Gemini positives far outweigh the negatives

i am a good easy going always the comedian type guy. hell i was #1 for 4 years as a DJ in a market with 37 different radio signals that entered the market. i beat my nearest competitor 2 to 1 in those ratings. so yes i guess we are talented. we are also good people but very protective of our friends and family. we are also great salespeople when we believe in the product. i'll give you the shirt off my back before i would beat you out of a nickle. but don't try and take the shirt off my back if you do you are in deep trouble.
we do have 2 sides a good and a bad. my good shines most of the time but when i have to stand up for myself i do it in royal fashion. you never quite forget a bad run in with me. one lawyer i have beat 2 times in divorce procedings without having an attorney.
he's supposed to be one of the best in the county. i did it all with a smile on my face. he hates my guts. wonder why?
willie nelson put it best when he said about himself, I'M AS GOOD AS THE BEST AND AS BAD AS THE WORST!
so you see really we are no different than any other sign just more out in the open with it. | |

I found your post a bit surprising. You being a Leo I thought that you would have good experiences with Gemini's. My sister (also a Leo) has been married to a Gemini for over 20 years....and very happily I might add.
A Leo/Gemini combination is usually a good one. Gemini's more than happily step aside to accommodate the Leo's desire to be in the spotlight and usually do well with their proud egos. For a Gemini man I feel a Leo is a good match. Sometimes she's just the type of strong personaility he needs. Leo's are usually the care takers...they pride themselves in being able to be there for others. They have the need to feel needed and keep things in order. Gemini's funloving, carefree attitude teaches the sometimes uptight Leo to relax and have fun, while the responsible Leo sets a good example for the the Gemini.....who's adolescent behaviour can sometimes get him in a bind. They compliment and balance each other in many ways. | |

The Geminis that I know are fairly self-aware individuals, I don't believe that's been mentioned yet. I've seen other signs (my ex a Scorpio) display the Jekyl/Hyde, so Geminis don't have the corner of ttat market and it's not inherent to the sign.
The duality is more of a chameleon in that they're more adapative to a situation whereas other signs tend to be a little more rigid and either look for or expect situations/people to adapt to them. I don't have to tell you which one of those is preferable.
I do see a lot of commonalities with other Geminis and that's really what I see as the crux of the whole astrology controversy. I can't say as I take it all that seriously or not sometimes I don't even think to look at what someone's sign is until I've had some interaction. Just going by their sun sign, it does often point to the characteristic that is "showing" itself so at least it can lead to greater understanding or something that's incompatible. | |

I agree, Gemini's together don't always mix well. However, I once dated a gemini for a year and a half and where I'll admit that we'd go at it from time to time, we had TONS of fun and we were never bored.....the world was our playground. In the end though, we just quietly drifted apart. No fight, no argument....it was almost as if we both realized our time was up. Man, was she fun though...wacky, just crazy enough and never stopped talking. LOL Last time I saw her was a few years ago. She had married a Taurus and was miserable.
The only other time I had as much fun with someone was with an Aquarian. Not quite as wacky but just as adventurous and a lot of fun!  | |

For many of us, it gets even more cloudy when you toss in a concept called the cusp, but the zodiac isn't exactly clearcut black and white, anyway. The simple explanation of the cusp is that people born during the first 5 days or last 5 days of their sign are influenced by the neighboring sign.
I am Gemini, but I am also Taurus. That probably makes me have a triple-sided personality, and even I don't know all the details of how I'm affected by the signs. On the positive side of things, I get to read the horoscopes for both Taurus and Gemini, and more often than not they both apply to me 
I'm not your typical Gemini, and a short list of why you shouldn't assume anything by someone's sign.
- I'm introverted (Taurus)
- Need and desire to socialize (Gemini)
- Both enjoys (Taurus) and hates (Gemini) being alone
- Very impulsive, spontaneous and impatient at times (Gemini)
- Can be extremely cautious and have far more patience than the average person (Taurus)
- Seeks to "take charge" and lead (Gemini), but if put in a position of leadership is a quiet "leader" (Taurus)
- Can be aloof (Gemini)
- Desire settling down and the home life (Taurus)
- Likes my freedom and doesn't want to be tied down (Gemini)
Yes, those last two fight each other constantly, but at this time the Taurean element has pretty much beat the Gemini element of that pairing into submission.
In relationship scenarios I probably deal best with other Gemini's because I know generally how they're thinking, and our personalities will gravitate towards what we both want, but I could also be involved with a Taurean as well. In any case, there is one Gemini I'm definitely interested in, there's just a little hurdle called distance.
