Why is it, I can meet a woman and get her phone number but when I call her she will never answer the phone or return the call. I have been cheated on, stepped on, chewed up, spit out and run over but I still go out and trust the next woman.
One thing I noticed is when women meet an honest guy like me, they will dump me and go find another guy that will lie and cheat on them. I guess sometimes we like the challenge instead of really finding what we say were looking for. | |

Don't ask so many questions and you wont get so many lies , Some of you act like the guy you are going out with is on the witnesstand getting interrogated, hey the first few dates are supposed to be to be fun interesting and to get to know each other slowly time, not reveal everything about you now or its over time, Usually revealing everything about yourself to someone new too soon makes you sound so needy that it kills all sexual tension and the intrigue that new friends experience so some guys lie instinctively some on purpose in order to avoid to be put in the "he is a chump and now I'm putting him in the hes just a friend book , Some men that actually taught about this will not lie to you but avoid and redirect your sometimes rude and inappropriate questions in a fun and humorous way , The thing about dating sites that i don't like is that a lot of women that use them act so frantically needy to make a serious connection with a man before its even appropriate . And so inexperienced men will resort to lying because the don't know how to redirect this i think inappropriate behavior that a lot of women display,  | |

I agree there are alot of SnakeOil Sales "people" around. Both genders have been guilty of this and it‘s not just in online dating.
To answer your question, it's not that people are gullable. It’s that they are overly eager to attach themselves to that instant spark that they misinterpret the other person’s actions or true feelings. Whether you meet on a dating site (no matter which one it is) or you meet someone at some sort of social gathering, it’s all the same. Only difference is that online dating gives you the opportunity to meet people you normally wouldn’t meet due to where you live/work/hang out or what your normal schedule is.
In reading the story, the whole situation only lasted a few weeks. It was all rushed without taking the time to truly get to know the other person before beleiving that there was a committed relationship.
That's really not much different than someone beleiving that there's a relationship just because they went home with someone they met that night at the bar.
There is nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying the moments as they come. If your going to believe that you are in a committed relationship right away even though you haven't taken the time to really get to know the person, you're going to feel as if you've been played.
Best advice I can give is no matter where or how you meet, you need to take it all one day at a time for a few months and not expect too much too soon. | |

That is why I am thinking of just giving up on the whole idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of even aproching anyone !!!!!!!!!!!
