When someone, a stranger, comes to you and asks for help, they may be an angel in disguise, the Bible speaks of angels seeking shelter in Abraham's house (I think) so think before you turn that stranger down. I believe in angels, if you don't, that's OK ... they believe in you. Just lately I've been seeing some odd movement out of the corner of my eye and have known that an angel is near me for some reason...its' frightening, yet somehow calming in the fact that I've been through some highly charged emotional situations lately. Geesh...I even thought I heard the flutter of little wings the other night when I was falling asleep!
I also believe that quite a few are on this site watching over us.

I take them to the movies where they can get in free... it's like a little high wing slap between me and my angels.
Yes, I believe that angels can influence people to save themselves in times of trouble, if we listen; pay attention. I believe that we interact with angels when we think we are dealing with other people... sometimes certain people seem etherical or sort of bouncing on air... perhaps they are absorbing some heavenly angelic persona.
Like it goes both ways... some people act like angels and some angels act like people.
In any event - I'm very glad to have them around!! | |

Every since I was little, my mother would tell me stories about everyone's guardian angels. Hers was named Bridget, and mine was Gabriel (appropriate, eh?). I believe that angels are among us, and help when we need them. To me, they are God's messengers, carrying out peace and goodwill on earth. I don't have any amazing stories of angelic intervention in my life, but I just have a feeling of peace sometimes, and know that they are there with me. | |

I have been called one on a daily basis, because of my job. I know I'm not an angel....but I love my job, and to that someone who needed their hand held or a laugh at that moment, I'm that angel that they needed for one sec.
I met an angel on tuesday this week. He was a patient of mine, a fisherman and in his 70's, I was treating him for a brain tumour. I fell in love instantly. He was so sweet and funny and strong. And he was telling me all about his wonderful family, and his wife of 45 years. And how over time they not only raised 4 children of their own, but 47 foster children have passed through their lives. It was wonderful to hear and you could see how happy, and proud he was about his family. Now that is an angel to me. | |

Also, my sister came to me one day very upset. She said a psychic had told her that her son didn't have a guardian angel. I told her it was horse pucky. Fast forward to October 3, 2004. My nephew was killed in Iraq on his 38th birthday because he threw himself between his men and a sniper. Thirty-six hours later the rest of his company went into the housing area he was killed in and found an IED factory. As soon as I heard Chris had been killed I KNEW what had happened because he died the way he lived. Also, the conversation I had with my sister came back to me and I realized Chris DIDN'T have a guardian angel because he was an angel sent to earth as a human to learn, teach and save countless lives. He was the best man I've ever known and I had that opinion of him long before he grew into the man he was. There was always something special about him that you just couldn't put your finger on. He is and always will be, my angel.
Angels can take many forms and I hope everyone realizes they might just know one and not realize it.
