"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved." | |

| POEMS Posted: 7/12/2006 10:07:01 PM | Hanging from a tree
Outside the distance far from here There’s a scarecrow hanging from a tree Is he real, he seems so real? He stands in the rain, I forgot he’s has no brain Could it be the crows brought him here? Will the lion show his fear? But will the tin man find his heart The lion certainly ran too far The scarecrow starts to sing out of key He doesn’t know better he’s in the hay The tin man with no heart has nothing to say So much for courage the lion prays Suddenly the scarecrow sang about love The tin man straight pulled him off the tree The lion roared and scared away the crows Suddenly it stopped to rain I was awakened by a touch of love Talking in her sleep she’s dreaming of me. As I wake her she says she had a dream She saw a scatterbain hanging from a tree singing her a song of love.
