Would never consider colouring it.

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/3/2009 8:46:30 AM | | I'm 55. I have no problem with my age or my appearance. I thank GOD for the amount of hair I still have much less the smattering of gray that is mixed in with it. I've worked hard for ever gray hair I have. I'll be damned if I am going to willingly, through some streak of vainity or marketing, try to undo all those years of effort and maturity. My hair, no matter the shade or amount, has no bearing on how young I feel. The idea that somehow "youth" can be regained out of a box or bottle is exactly what Madison Ave. wants us to buy into. I have a Marketing degree, believe me, this ain't rocket science. Hair coloring for men should be relegated to the dustbins of history and bad comb overs need to have some sort of local ordinances outlawing them. Those that utilize one to enhance the other have issues that need to be dealt with by board certified professionals. Grow up, Act your age and get over It! | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/3/2009 10:59:11 AM | Should men wear make up also, this just proves that men can be as vain as many women. Going to gyms to look desirable, and still looking like doo-doo. Playing these moronic games just speaks of desperation. Who are you trying to attract? If the idea is to attract someone much younger, then get a face lift also. This is so hilarious, is also refers to lying about age. If you jump in the pool, and you have to worry about your hair. Then you are just playing the game, and those that play are not worth the cost of the dye. I would work on self image, and be content with who you are. Not, what someone else thinks or says. Being yourself, is attractive to the right woman, pretending is how we all get into doo...... | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/3/2009 5:03:21 PM | | I would say Yes! I personally don't like white or gray hair. It really makes a man look much older than he is. | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/4/2009 5:27:58 AM | I don't think they should. Women, on the other hand, are lost without their peroxide | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/4/2009 6:29:07 AM | | It's their choice--hopefully though it looks good and they are honest about it. My real hair color is gray and light brown, but it's blond. I dated this one guy once who had beautiful black hair and then he just decided to go gray. I saw him a few years later and he looked 30 years older with the gray. Some gray looks great on (just as it looks awesome on some women)--but this guy needed to do something--he looked very aged. | |

Salt and pepper can be sexy, but white hair isn't - at least not to me. It is the male equivalent to Barbara Bush - every over 45 man's dream woman - NOT.

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/9/2009 7:44:15 AM | I was surfing the forums and read your question about," why is it that men seem to get sooo much more attractive with age and most woman just get old?". I dont find that to be true any more. I'll give you an years ago when I was in my 30s I was managing a womens shoe store in the area mall. Any way there was a woman that work at Carson that was absolutely HOT and I inquired about her and found out she was 72yo it blew my mind away. I kept thinking no way no way. I see more and more of that no a days also. Women are aging very beautifully if they choose to that is. I think its a coice to take care of ones self. | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/9/2009 3:16:45 PM | | Some men look good with gray hair and some do not depends on the man just like some look good with facial hair and some would look better without same goes for long and short hair on a man. | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/11/2009 3:05:44 AM | I am so the opposite of most posters on this thread - grey hair is not a turn on at all for me.
Give me a man with a full head of dark hair and I can't keep my hands out of it.

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/12/2009 8:09:59 AM | yes all men should dye their hair and all women should get boob jobs. no wait...men shouldn't dye their hair and women shouldn't get boob jobs. everyone should be loved exactly the way they are. unless of course no one loves them because of the way they are. in which case...all men should dye their hair and all women should get boob jobs.

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/12/2009 10:05:56 AM | | If men want to color the gray, great!! However, I love gray haired men - I mean Sean Connery is fine with his silver hair, bald, whatever - that man is great! So...if they lose their lucious locks or keep it gray, I am good to go. I am not dating his hair - I am dating the man so it's really what's inside that counts! | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/13/2009 5:05:20 PM | | OMG!!! Not sure if this is a new commercial I saw on TV the other night, maybe some of ya'll have seen it also. I think it's a Just For Men hair coloring ad that shows two little girls going up to their Dad who's reading the paper and telling him it's time for him to get back out there and start dating again. (Not sure if he's widowed or divorced???) Anywho, he takes their advice, gets a date with a lady and the two girls are last seen high fiving each other, lol. Cute ad. | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/13/2009 6:54:17 PM | ...I was out of town attending a convention most of the week and I couldn't help but take notice of a gentleman, probably in his early 50's with the nicest silver gray hair. It was quite long, and he wore it neatly tied back....plus he had the lightest gray eyes... he looked incredible. I noticed many of the ladies (including myself) checking him out as he walked by....ooh la la

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/13/2009 7:15:05 PM | | I realize it is a completely cultural thing as far as what I find appealing and attractive in this respect. I do not like men to dye their hair. For me, women coloring their hair has to do with fashion, style, and so on. Young women with no gray color their hair different colors just for fun. Older women color to cover the gray, but also try out different colors. I wouldn't like men to wear makeup either. To me, coloring their hair is pretty much the same as men wearing makeup. There are current pictures now of Tom Jones going naturally gray. He looks much, much better. | |

| Should men color the gray Posted: 2/13/2009 7:31:37 PM | When done well - it works just fine... In the job arena - THESE DAYS - any man with graying hair who doesn't touch it up is just shooting himself in the foot... looking old on the job - especially in sales is just plain dumb and a money loser...
Perfect 'salt and pepper' hair is quite OKAY after age 45 or so --- but a mottled gray hair that looks something like a marble cake slice is -- just plain awful...
Totally grayed out hair - especially the eyebrows - makes a guy look 10-15 years older than he is - and is a BIG NEGATIVE - in personal relationships or in business...
YOUTH RULES -- why do you think women have been dying their hair for YEARS?
JUST DO IT RIGHT...
