This is a hilarious thread. Very few guys (and gals) know how to choose the right colour of dye. So my advice, guys, is to keep it real. Looks sexy and gives an air of sophistication. Has nothing to do with accomplishment or financial security (mentioned earlier).

I'm just happy to have the head of hair that I have so I'm not going to mess with 'Mother Nature'.

Doesn't matter to me either way. I think that's a more personal choice that should be respected if they do and if they don't that's respected as well.

There was a very handsome man shopping where I work last night ~ his hair was grey, not silver, and it looked real good on him

If you can pull it off then leave it, otherwise, color it

If I was younger I would go for something wild ~ love brightly colored hair

I think men can get away with not coloring.. so why bother? Me personally, I have some gray, I don't color, I don't pluck.. I just hope to have a full head of silver instead of just the temples like most of my family.

If you can't stand your gray, get a glaze... not quite as flat as a dye job.

My hair has been turning "a little Grey" since I was 17. Several multipliers later, there is only a little black left.

Ladies, no one is looking any more. Someone wrote sereral response back that Richard Gere looks better with grey hair. I hear George Clooney also looks great with grey hair. However, Richard Gere looks like Richard Gere. George Clooney looks like Cary Grant. I look like Clarence Thomas.

I have purchased the "touch of gray" already, but I fear that if I die it up I will look like younger ClarenceThomas.

Largely, I have reached that age where I am so laid back and so wise and charming, I sometimes look in mirrors to see if it was me who said something clever. Sometimes it is. But now that I have reach the point where I know my way around a woman, have he confidence to approach speak and treat her like a lady and not a sex object, wash on a regular basis, developed manner and crave shutting up and actually listening to her instead of trying to fix her problems before she finishes her sentences, I am invisible. I sometimes think I am clinically dead; except I keep paying he visa bill, so I must be alive (or dead and on auto pay).

Bottom line, if you got it, you got it and it matters not if you look like Ricky Ricardo or Ceasar Romero. Just make sure you didn't pick up what the Supreme Court Justice dropped.

i don't care what colour a man's hair is.
if he's balding i like it very short, the shorter the better.
shaven is good.....

if i fancy a man i don't care much what his hair is.....

as long as it's not scruffy or dirty.

Agree

Age is a natural process.. and any energy into making oneself more youthful appearing could be be put into be another hour exercising or doing something healthy... that way one can be energetic instead of looking like an old man with a dye job.. fat paunchy belly with three hairs flopped over and dyed... gold chain and open shirt...

Hair coloring is unnatural and harmful to the body.. harsh chemicals leech into the body.. yuch

Women look sexy with gray hair as well.. its all in how people carry themselves and not the dye on their head

Older women who are in great shape are super sexy.. no matter what the color of their hair

Real is real.. anyway if your attracted to the person and everything works out you'll eventually wake up next to real so why not experience it right out of the gate

Whatever makes you happy about your appearance. I'd say go for a natural look because guys are sexy with some gray!

~

eeks!!! Heck no!!!

I don't use poisons in my hair and I would not date someone who does.

No offense to those who use poisons in their hair or on their bodies it's just way NOT for me.

My driver showed up a few months ago with his nice salt & pepper hair dyed dark brown ugg I couldn't help but laugh and asked him "Who the heck are you and where's my regular driver?".
He was most embarrassed and said his wife talked him into it when she was doing hers.
I felt bad for him but couldn't help laughing all the way to town (and some on the ride back home).
He soon got a real short flat top and the dye job is now gone.

I was wondering what women think about older men using hair coloring products to hide the gray hair.

I know it is only my opinion and that it is based in cultural bias...but--NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!

Just, no.

Please men: no make up, no girdles, no hair dye, no nail polish....and I promise not to smoke a pipe and grow a mustashe.

I am most happy and content with a man who is comfy in his own skin .. and hair .. or not - long hair, short hair, grey hair, no hair .. whatever. A happy man .. that's my 'criteria'.

NO, a man who can be confidently gray or bald is very sexy to me. I want a man to be a man, no comb-overs, hair coloring, jewelry, heavy cologne, just be a man!

Forget the hair colour OP and get on with life....................I like older men so the grey hair wouldn't bother me.

My ex husband used to freak out about his "grey hair" just before we got married. He was 37. He dyed it black several times and our wedding pictures show him with dark hair. Not long after he asked if I would be upset if he let it go natural. I was thrilled. The only weird thing was looking back at the wedding pictures.

Be yourself.
