Sad to say, men look distinguished and handsome in gray, most women look old. SOME women look gorgeous in gray hair. I'm not one of them. I look depressed and downtrodden and unkempt. So, Lady Clairol and I worked out a deal.

Men however, almost 100% of the time look MUCh better with the gray.

Just my opinion.

I like men who have grey hair. But I like men who are bald also,.

Me? I'm going backwards. I was born with white hair and as I age it gets darker. Now how did that happen??

When the sides began to gray I started to color it but all my lady friends don't me to stop. I do know when to listen to a lady. But then again with this hat on, you can't see much of it anyway.

I have a LOT of gray in my beard and I will never touch it up.

To me it comes under the heading of being happy with who you are.

If I were to lose my hair I would not wear a rug, do the combover, the spiral wrap....

Hair, lack of hair or color of hair doesn't change who I am.

Depends on the man. Some guys blossom with the distinguished gray. And say guys look further aged. Whatever floats your boat.

I think if they feel better with it colored and they will commit to keeping it up, it's fine with me. But it's not necessary from my POV.

I recently started coloring my hair (I joke that it's the only thing fake about me!) after wearing it natural for the biggest part of 10 years. But I also wore my hair very short during that time. Now that I am letting it grow a bit, I found I just didn't like the way it looked as well. So for me (unless I am kidding myself) it was more about what I wanted than an effort to try and look younger, because I am comfortable with my age - god knows I worked hard to get here!

Gray, Colored or Bald, men are gorgeous! I think we are all individuals who should do whatever we feel with our hair and our bodies!

I'm fortunate enough to still have much of my hair. Only some of the hair on top of my head has some white in it.

I have some white in my beard.

I will not color my hair. I will not do a comb-over to hide the bald spot.

I will, however, wear a hat, to keep the sun from frying my head!

I have done it in the past... Dont bother me as much as when it first started turning gray. What bothered me was the first time i saw some gray down south. Do they make a product called "Just for balls"

man, good thing I wasn't drinking anything....

I think grey hair is sexy as hell......and the reason why? A masterful man, of course....

Well I am way past being able to color my hair anything then what it is now. I have white, Gray and many shades that I can not place and most on top is gone. Maybe they should just sell a tape or paste to hold it in place.

I'm an 'older' woman who has let nature take over and I wouldn't like to be going out with a guy who has used coloring products to hide his gray hair.... in fact I find it a real 'turn off' expecially those roots !!!! coloured hair just feels and smells all wrong too ...... please keep it natural .....

I have longish, salt and pepper hair that has never been coloured or highlighted. I'm afraid to have it done because it may lead me to experiment with eyeliner , nail gloss and new shoes. Where will my vanity end ?

Maybe if certain men coloured their hair, the next thing they do might be to post a picture?

OR BOTH ??????

As far as I'm concerned people can do whatever they want to their hair. Being distinguished or mature has nothing to do with hair colour.

ron9, too funny! fyi most blondish, reddish haired men have similar color coordinated issues. just do your thing, whatever it is. i assume women must have the same issues.

my ex who was younger than me, looked very washed out as he turned grey. i encouraged him to dye his hair a bit, to have a better chance at getting a job. like it or not, there is age discrimination in the workplace. he also looked less tired. one time he did try to save money, doing it himself and it looked awful. most hair shops will do men with a bit of color mixed into the grey. they are doing that for women now as well.

some men and some women look better gray than others.

Nay Nay I say...
I love the grey or silver. Maybe it's just my own preference.

Some men should and some men shouldnt. Gray actually makes some people look older and washed out and can make your undereye color appear darker. Seems like a trend now is to go bald , wont see any gray or any hair

Speaking for the naturally bald men of POF as well as those of us who shave our heads, I like the way you think.

I’m pleased I found this thread.

I think it depends on the skin tone; darker complexions can get away with it, but believe me a very fair-skinned person always looks better with some colour. Do I do it? Yes, occasionally. For those who think it looks fake, yes it does if the right colour and application isn’t made. This isn’t being vain; it’s really no different to a woman wanting to look her best.

Take a look at my pic; tell me if you think it looks fake. It’s all in the eye of the beholder is it not? I even use beard colouring too.
