Don't agree with it when there are kids of the opposite sex.
They ought to be allowed to guess, imagine, and grow at their own pace.
Seeing the opposite sex nude ought to be a new and wonderful thing with their first experience, not the same old same old. I believe it robs them of the curiosity they have a right to as their interests develop.
We are only kids for a very short period of time and that ought to be protected zealously by the adults in their lives.

Posted: 3/30/2008 8:47:20 AM | The bathroom door is always open when I go pee ... unless of course my boys or I have company over, but it depends on whom ... if it's my really close friends, I might leave the door open so I can continue chatting with them while I do my thang. I also like going pee in the dark ... if the light is on in the bathroom, I'll shut it off first & leave the door open so there is just a tad of light streaming in to keep me from being afraid of the dark.
My boys have grown up seeing me nude, not that I make efforts to parade around all day nekkid. But I do sleep in the raw so if I have to go pee or get a drink of water, then I usually go as is then crawl back into bed.  When the boys were little they would jump into our waterbed in the morning for a cosy snuggle with my ex & I ... the fact that we were both nude wasn't an issue at all ... we were just mom & dad. Besides I think skin-to-skin contact between parents & young children can be an extremely healthy bonding experience, similar to the bonding between mother & baby when breastfeeding. There is something very comforting & nurturing about being cuddled against a woman's breasts or a guy's chest, especially if you can hear their heartbeat.
My boys are 18 & 22 now so I won't stand & converse with them nekked but occasionally they might see me walking to & from the bathroom or kitchen in the buff. They don't make efforts to look & I'm sure what I've got are just "mom parts" to them & not "woman parts". They are cool with coming into my room if they need to ask me something, even if the covers aren't all the way up & part of me is exposed. But if we're going to be holding a conversation I will pull the covers over my breasts. In the summer when it's too hot for clothes, we'll all be lounging around in our undies but sitting on the furniture nekked is a big no no in my household. I'd rather not sit on furniture that's had someone's stinky, hairy arse on it either. | |

Posted: 3/30/2008 10:02:06 AM | well.. naked on a warm or hot day is the only way to go and i usually am however because i have boys ranging from 4 to 14 , i can not freely expose myself despite the fact that i have taught my boys to appreciate and respect the naked human form
my own two boys have seen my naked but know there are boundaries.. my oldest whom is a nephew that just recently moved in is a different story.. even he covers himself after a shower, lol
i am very different from his mom when it comes to sexuality .. i look at it from an artist's point of view that we are all one (came from a non-gendered beginning) and we are all beautiful and also that everyone is different in their preference which is what makes us special
i am hoping my nephew will be influenced by my open mindness and adapt it to his own liking
i can already see my own boys following suit when they always take their clothes off as soon they walk in the door.. i always remind them to at least keep their skivvies on when sitting and socks on so they dont get sick... again! | |

Posted: 3/30/2008 11:55:39 AM | I live alone so being naked should not be an issue...yet I seldom do. It's my upbringing I guess. We always covered ourselves when I was young, even shorts were frowned upon (Northern Ontario - If it is not cold, it is the mosquitoes. LOL).
But somehow this does not apply to an intinate evening with a lady, I am quite at ease being naked with someone of the other sex. I see that as a good thing.
