| do women from different countries act differently Posted: 10/4/2009 2:12:57 PM | | hmm...well, i suppose cultural differences could affect behavior...but once the woman has become acclimated to the U.S. culture, i imagine she'll eventually act just like the rest of us...for better or worse! | |

of corse women from different countries act differently, same with men from different countries
all humans adapt to their surroundings, different surroundings = different people, "the ground will always dictate"
everything is situational

City folk are city folk. Country folk are country folk.
Instead of searching outside the country for a different kind of woman, you could simply search outside the kind of environment you live in. Stop dating city chicks and start dating farm girls. Get out of the plains and go to the seashore. Ignore women from the mountiains and try dating women in the desert.
All types of women pretty much live in all countries. Pay some attention to what kind of environment they were raised in.

Also when the women here hit about 55 or so they are ready for the knitting needles, crochet hooks, and rocking chair it seems. I like independence in women, but, some women here carry it a little too far and if they are from a big city the usually think they are better than you, especially east coasters. I'm in plenty of deep shit now, so I better shut up. Everyone have a nice day !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I believe so, I think in some countries the women are not as strong willed, independant and are more into putting the men and their family first. Depends on their culture and family background.
I think this is a crock! The women in Russia and the Ukraine are just as strong willed and independant as any woman in the US. I have been married twice to Russian women and have spent some time there. They are women! They are stubborn, squeemish, feminine, passionate, emotionally changeable, change their minds and are hard to figure just like any other woman. The real beauty of them is that they believe in different ideas of the roles that we play in a family and life then American women. It isnt so much that they put the man first and kowtow to everything that he wants, they believe that the role of a man is one thing and the role of a woman is another. They dont think that it is cool to cross over. They like that their bodies attract men. They like being feminine and dressing up and doing things for men. They like wearing dresses and being a mother and a wife. They dont have to fight about every little part of who does what in a relationship. Believe me if the man gets out of line they are just as tough and maybe more so then American women they just dont feel a need to fight constantly for control and believe in making their men feel happy. Remember most American women have not had to live through 100's of years of fear and fighting because of ideologies and dictators. The family ties that have developed out of all that termoil are very strong and the need to have that in their families now is very strong and most of these women will do anything to keep their family strong. The blood baths in Russia just in the last 150 years have been horrendous. The demure outside is mostly a facade developed from this adversity and underneath they are extremely passionate, emotionally strong and true women. Bob

I am Mexican and I am very respectful of everybody. And I consider my self similar to everybody. I agree with you. You are similar to many Americans as you hold a big guy in your arms on your picture to show everyone on the dating site. Many American guys hold their old girlfriends forever on their pictures...LOL!
Isn't it that the only women who are interested in these men are the gold diggers (and there are bound to be some in any society) who pretend to fit their stereotype until they have got what they want (marriage, residence in another country or whatever) and who then cease to be slaves and make their own demands. The majority of women in Eastern Europe probably have little interest in these men and no desire to get involved with them. I have two friends who have respectively married a nice American man. They are happy for years.

This is what an American woman would be doing if she took up with a man that wasnt ideal in some way. This sounds like the typical American woman's attitude towards men that are a little older, not pretty enough, ETC. In other words if I dont want him or dont see any value in him then she doesnt either. Thank God the whole world of women doesnt have that attitude. Different cultures instill different values in their women. Some women see age as a benifit and they can learn something from him or that the exterior is not as important as the interior. Women here give these things lip service but when it comes right down to it they arent interested. Then they cry about it when they get older and lose their looks a little and get treated the same way. I guess American men are subject to have this attitude too so it isnt just women. I think that we all need to adjust our attitudes towards the opposite sex and not just throw them in a bag.

depends on your definition of "dinomite".

| do women from different countries act differently Posted: 10/14/2009 7:32:50 AM | | Yes, women and men act differently. In countries where women are supressed and threated like second class citizens, the men seem to take things for granted and the women are timid. In poor economic areas such as the Ukrane and Russia areas have left many in poverty and women seek men from out of thier country for the sake of having a better life and family. I find the disposition of women from a culture as Ukrane very favorable, the values and attatude of family life where divorce is of neglegent issues since they dont have high divorce rates seem geared to stable home lives. Its really good to hear that women outside of our capitolistic society maintained values like that of our grandparents. I am inclined if things were different to visit that country. | |

In other words if I dont want him or dont see any value in him then she doesnt either Wow now I sound like the typical American woman! That's pretty weird as I'm not American. I don't think it has anything to do with the things you mention. I would expect most women to be attracted to men from their own country who would speak the same language and have a similar background to them. Of course a woman might just happen to meet a man from a different country and fall in love. But when a woman deliberately sets out to meet men from a different country, particularly when she comes from a poor country and is seeking to meet men from a rich country, my suspicion would be that she is a gold digger.

particularly when she comes from a poor country and is seeking to meet men from a rich country, my suspicion would be that she is a gold digger. The U. S. is the richest country in the world. Athough there are many rich people in this country, American average men are poorer than I can't imagine! In addition, most guys are overweighted!
