This sounds like the typical American woman's attitude towards men that are a little older, not pretty enough, ETC. In other words if I dont want him or dont see any value in him then she doesnt either Wow now I sound like the typical American woman! That's pretty weird as I'm not American. I don't think it has anything to do with the things you mention. I would expect most women to be attracted to men from their own country who would speak the same language and have a similar background to them. Of course a woman might just happen to meet a man from a different country and fall in love. But when a woman deliberately sets out to meet men from a different country, particularly when she comes from a poor country and is seeking to meet men from a rich country, my suspicion would be that she is a gold digger.

Athough there are many rich people in this country, American average men are poorer than I can't imagine! In addition, most guys are overweighted!

->Exactly lots of people here live in debt and can't leave their job they hate because of that. This country itself has huge amount of debt. And especially in POF, there are many guys who can't even pay their phone bills seriously lol

I don't care though .. what a great country. The one thing you all do much better than us Brits is open up on these forums .. I'm learning alot!

Women here tend to feel that they have something to prove. This is just my own observations in their general attitudes.

| do women from different countries act differently Posted: 10/25/2009 7:28:47 AM | | There are many non-western countries where women take a more traditional, subservient role. Having met women from such countries myself, it sure is a big break from the feminists I've grown up with here at the states. Wow, she will stay home, cook, clean and rear the children? A breath of fresh air. | |

she will stay home, cook, clean and rear the children? She has children and has to stay home to take care of her children first. She's responsible for her children. If parents don't like to be responsible for their children, they shouldn't want to have children. Many people have children, but they drink, drug, don't care about their children, and give their children low lives. Everything one does will generate responsibility for the one. If one can't be responsible for what the one wants, the one shouldn't do it for trouble.

Even women who were raised in the same areas of the country, but moved to different towns act differently, although that's not quite as marked.
I know women from Manchester, and from London, and they act VERY differently. Women who are half Italian and half English, and VERY different from women whose parents are both English. Even women from New York are very different from women from El Paso.
It does help to pick women to date who come from places where you feel comfortable.
