I dated a woman for a couple months before things got intimate. then all of a sudden she's grossed out by not being cut, and told me to get it cut or it was over. Needless to say it ended that moment.
How often to you ever hear men say "My god your p**** lips are huge and gross, go get em surgically changed" Now I'm not saying it has never happened, but I'll bet it is a lot less often then women telling guys to cut it off. (Sorry if it sounds like I am generalizing, I'm not trying to).
Guess I just want to reiterate my point to anybody who is considering it. Never change yourself just to make somebody else happy. If the don't like it then just go again. | |

I had mine at 11 years old and that was late enough, however its not that it is really painfull when its done but its more the recovery stage that gets a little annoying. Dont know if you realised but if you was to pinch your foreskin you will find that it is not so painfull, a bit like your ear lobes. Just make sure you fully shave down there and i mean shave not trim.
Now this s the most important advice.

Don't listen to some of the girls on here, they don't know sh*t. If they don't want to be with someone because they are not cut, obviously they are not worth it.
That is like a guy saying he doesn't want to be with a girl because her lips down there are too big. Not worth it.
It is your decision but if you are contemplating doing this because of ONE girl you need to get your head on straight.

Posted: 6/7/2006 6:50:48 PM | my cousin had to have it done for medical reasons when he was 28 and already married and he had a LOT of pain!! but he's been married for 12 years now with 3 kids and I don't hear any complains one way or the other from his wife.
I think all the right things have been touched upon already:
- do it only for medical reasons
- daily hygiene is the best way to keep your buddy clean whether he's hooded or not
- not all women have a preference, or feel one
- once again, it's not what you have that matters but how you use it
- never mutilate yourself in any way just to please someone else!

See I love being an ORIGINAL because none of these apply to me. I've been with both types of men and I totally preferred the cut man over the uncut man. The uncut guy was really really clean and it still had a weird odor. Honestly it was really hard for me to get comfortable when we engaged in oral sex.

I got Cut this week.
The operation did not hurt as I was knocked out....on day five things are healing nicely. It was uncomfortable for the first couple days and it is still a little bruised. Doc says I can be back on my bike by Tuesday (8 days) and it will be healed enough for anything else in 10 - 15 days. Totally healed and no obvious giveaways by August.
Seriously people at 28 I guarantee that there has been a lot of debate in a guys mind. for me there was and it was not a decision I took lightly. I asked this question I got much the same replies. After doing a lot of research and talking with it to a couple of close friends, the decision was easy. I feel like it was the right one....

I love all these comments though that claim a cirumcised penis seems larger than a non. First off, not true. When you get the foreskin chopped off, your penis DOES NOT GROW! The only difference now is that you have less skin there..And a scar unless healing went perfectly. I can see why you would get it done in cases of religion or if your wedding tackle would shrivel up and fall off if the procedure wasnt done, but other than that and you'd be mutilating your natural born body in a way that cant be reversed (or at least you can try...but Im pretty sure your doctor would disagree with trying to reattach a chunk of dead skin to your doodle)
Another comment on the sexual satisfaction factor.. If a guy can't give a woman a multiple orgasm, or a single orgasm for that matter, while he's uncut, he's just SOL either way.
Any claims of hightened satisfaction from the female side of things are predominantly psychological. If she has the belief that its better when it's cut, mentally, she will dislike uncut, making herself physically unresponsive even though her body is still trying to say "I like this" If she believes a certain side of this topic ery strongly, naturally, she'll be more responsive to it simply because her mind is telling her body not to enjoy any other option.
Essentially what I'm saying is if you want it done, yes, it will be painful, no, it wont 'enhance' sex physically, and all the stories about it getting larger, longer, harder, whatever..Total load of verbal fodder. Though it's easier to keep clean when it's cut, I don't know too many uncut guys who are too lazy to give it a pull and wash it well. Hygiene only improves for cut guys if you cant be bothered to take 5 seconds to pull back the foreskin for cleaning while uncut.
Personal experience? I'm uncut so actual experience is one sided. In the event that I'm with a girl who is capable of and enjoys multiple orgasms I have never had a problem with going the distance and giving her 2,3,4, even 11 orgasms in one lay, but there's always those girls who just enjoy one and thats enough to tire her out or make her body totally unreceptive to further activity. So, if a guy cant use it already, he's SOL even after a cut. | |

None of the cut guys I have been with have ever had a problem in this area. In fact my ex (cut).. wow.. talk about control!!
The a$$ I nearly married before him tho.. he wasn't cut and had a really bad hair trigger... he was by far the largest I have had, but was never able to make me orgasm (but that has NOTHING to do with his not being cut, and EVERYTHING to do with him being selfish, uneducated, and unwilling to learn anything in the bedroom!! TG for unanswered prayers, right?!!)...
Bottom line is if you are going to have it done, make sure it's for the RIGHT reasons and not just 'cause someone asked you to. I know I wouldn't be making any permanent alterations to my body for someone else. | |

Yes they do get circumcised and it cannot be compared! If a female gets cirumcised she feels no lust and therefore will not have an orgasm either. Don´t make such a silly comparison!!!! Check the internet for female circumcision - you will find out that it is a hell of a difference!!!! | |

I had a local anesthesia blocks injected into my penis, which were suppose to hurt---but did not at all. Then my penis got numb, but I was awake through the whole thing, looking around...having a casual convo with the surgeon guy. It was a loose circ with frenulum intact. Had done because of recurrent infections and just unpleasant smells and odors, even though I washed all the time (you can't always wash after you pee, and then that urine sits in there all day). But the procedure was only 30 minutes and then he stitched it and sent me on my way, with the nurse coming in to give me instructions on how to take care of it. First 24 hrs. leave the bandage on, and then take it off the next day. First 24 hrs you have to put an ice pack on it every 20 mins on and off and definitely just lay around either nude or in boxers for the first day. It's now the third day (this was just done July 10th) and the stitches are still in (they don't dissolve for 2 weeks) and there's a little swelling (again, gone in two weeks). But I'm glad I had it done; cut makes it look so much better and it just feels cleaner, etc. Plus girls mostly like it more than uncut. I'm pleased with the results. So far, the glans remain the same, but it's only been three days so maybe over time there will be a decreased sensitivity. But that won't be for while, because since I've had foreskin covering it for 21 years of my life it'll take awhile for it to get desensitized...I think. I'm no expert. :) But it makes sense. Also I heard 60% of adult men don't even notice the decrease in sensitivity.
To the OP; I would have it done, definitely. | |

But first I must state clearly that whether a man is circumsized or not would have ABSOLUTELY no impact on whether or not I would love him. All the women that have such strong "uncut is gross" opnions are likely just as sucked into the status quo in everything else in life. Yes, as women, in N America, it is rarer to see an uncut penis, simply due to the medical practices of the day when we were born.
I have seen a number of penises with terrible scar tissue that I'm pretty sure a couple of the guys didn't even realize that's what it was. Common sense tells us that scar tissue has less sensitivity, so that issue is a no-brainer: keep your touque (that's a woolen hat for all you non-canadians).
Again, people are not used to what they don't know, it may smell a little different, but what man wasn't a little suprised the first time he ate at the Y?
okay, let's talk a little more globally now, shall we? How many crazy poeple justify their actions because of someone else's behavior? I'm sure we can all agree that female circumcision is just plain wrong. While we run around willy-nilly (ha a little pun) cutting the genitals of little male people way too small to resist, does that not give others some sort of justification for people to do it to females? think about it. I have and I do. Let's lead by example people, and honor our bodies and other people's bodies.
It wasn't all that hard to convince my son's father, who is circumsized, to support my decision not to circumsize our little boy. so what if it looks different? that's the lamest argument to support genital cutting I've ever heard. It's also not hard at all to teach a little boy, when time comes, how to take care of his penis. | |

Unfortunately, his parents were knuckleheads and wouldn't even take him to the doctor the day "it" was to happen. He and I rode our bikes to his doctor and I waited out in the waiting room. The screams were pretty bad, and we walked our bikes home!! Now he also had an infection, so I'm sure that makes a difference.
Now if you are converting to Judaism then you are in luck, they just take a little "snippet"!
