I am actually coming down from Virginia to meet someone this weekend in St Pete. a little over 800 miles this decision was done after e-mails and phone conversations so hopefully it will go well. I know that is not fair to all but over 800 miles to have excuse after excuse not to meet. She wouldn't answer her phone or return messages. Needless to say that was a waist. I did how ever run into a friend from highschool I haven't seen in about 20 years needless to say she is still looking good and we had a wonderful night out, and I will leave it at that. So how far would I go ?
Depends on if I like the place, and if I have been there before.
So lets say I met a girl in vegas, lol I'm there, short drive to national parks in AZ, great camping area.
Or like Europe or Central America, in a heartbeat I would go.
But if the person lives in , lets say, Arkansas, or god forbid, North Dakota, NOT A CHANCE. | |

He even asked me if he could contact me again and I said yes... Then,nothing. I just hope wherever he is, he is doing okay.. .But yes, I would travel {almost} anywhere, as long as it was a free country...I've had enough bad experiences in my life to have to live under unfree conditions...Australia, New Zealand, the UK, even Canada, would be great...May be different with others, those are just my countries of choice...Almost got to the UK, but the man in question just is more into his hobbies now than me...Oh well, his loss... | |
