Posted: 5/23/2006 2:54:41 AM | That is simple and complete in purpose. The most important thing in my life is my kids. Since, I am going through a divorce right now- my 5yr son is the MAN of my life! To be a mom to my kids, is the priority that I shall never squander as being trivial.

Also, I agree with the person that mention that you have to love and respect yourself. If you can't do that, you will never find love and respect from someone else.

I assume you should know by now that the essence of the question - as with all else - is highly subjective. One person's answer lies in the mind, not in reality. Do not think you have the responsibility of God to mold your own perception of what is, into actuality itself...or your life will be full of disappointements.
I completely understand where you're coming from, though. I myself can be a highly judgemental person when it comes to musical preferences, or people on opposing sides of life that I'm in disagreements with. (Mind you, it makes a difference to actually be aware that you're in the act of judging, in order to reflect on your acts critically.) But what's the point, though, if I cannot learn to understand those who can challange my position and make me learn? Without learning, we inevitably reaches a plateau in our development and growth. (References/credit to Brasidas for teaching me this lesson.)

PS. Brasidas also said (And Freud confirms, and I agree completely), those who insist on their willingness to sacrifice and their selflessness, may in fact be the most egotistic ones of us all. Our defense mechanisms will not allow this to be seen in clarity, but that's not to say it isn't so. Before you rain down your torrent of judgement on, i.e introspective people who make the learning of self a personal quest in life, take a deep breath and look within yourself instead, d'accord?
For those of you wondering why I've mentioned the above:
Easy........you're really angry type, aren't you? That's not good for your health, mentally or physically, I'm a bit worried about you. Look at your statement below, you're such a loving person so ready to give rather than take.

For me the most important in life is to live it in with loving intentions and in full awareness and full facility of all our senses. To aknowledge with awe and gratitude what an awesome thing it is to be alive in the first place and have the cognitive ability to percieve and wonder about our unique place in this amazing universe. To have the rearward view when at the end of your road in this incarnation that you have lived it well and have contributed some truth and beauty to the lives of others and the well being of the planet that has hosted our mortal bodies and nurtured our immortal souls... | |
