I must say GOD...because he is a creator. Money, sex, and materials are all evil. Too many people were killing/divorcing over sexes. Money breaks up the relationship. No money no honey, isn't that the true?
I don't think sex is evil joeups247, the abuse of it is...

| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 8/14/2006 9:23:32 AM | The most important thing is your character as a person. Your values and what you believe to be true, wrong and right.
Those are the only real things that cannot be taken away from you and that you can carry to your grave.

| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 8/15/2006 7:38:57 AM | I think the key to life is balance, moderation. Having a healthy 4 point system where you keep in mind that no one thing to the extreme is healthy, but on the other hand a healthy dose of everything is best.
1. Family and Friends/a social atmosphere/your support system 2. Reflection, space, "me" time, quiet relaxation, religion, anything you do alone to improve the self i.e., eating and staying healthy, exercising, pampering yourself, improving yourself. 3. Work/finances 4. Romantic relationships (involvement, dating, etc.)
Not in that order of course, but a lot of people don't have an equal amount of all of these things. Most tend to have a spike in one thing and the rest gets ignored or doesn't get enough time. 2 should never be missing, and of course if 1, 3, or 4, are lacking or non-existent due to circumstances out of your control (job loss, family/friendship falling out, breakup), you usually need to take that time to focus on yourself more than usual for a bit before you can properly replace it.
I find if you post these things on your refrigerator it keeps you conscious of what you are missing or overdoing as well.

| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 3/7/2008 4:18:44 PM | I am a cancer survivor and appreciate every day that God has allowed me to be here. - Irrisheyes > I can assure you that God has not 'allowed' you to be here any more than he planned to prevent you from being here when your cancer was at its worst. > When a school bus slips over a cliff and all the children perish, did God decide at that moment not to step in - for some reason of his own? Or when a man is saved from drowning in the sea, did God decide, at that moment, that he will save that particular individual? (After all, we are all his children, so why wouldn't he choose to save everyone?) > People get blown to bits every single day somewhere in the world, but God is not a part of it. Mankind is wholly responsible for his own deeds and misdeeds and no one else. The Bible makes that clear, if you believe biblical tenets, and tells us that God takes no part in the affairs of men. > Good to hear that you are a survivor, but God isn't affected one way or the other. What matters is that you care. It is all down to you. > My mother died in agony in my arms after a prolonged and debilitating illness when I was 16 years of age. My father was an alcoholic, a violent and difficult man, too busy with other women to come to her bedside. She was 47 when she passed over. It took me 40 years of Bible study, and a great deal of introspection and self-examination, to appreciate that God didn't kill her - the tumour did. That malignant tumour, deep inside her, didn't have God's name written on it. > Forty years of Bible study, of deep and thorough knowledge of the Bible and its principles - only to discover four decades later that our human origins pre-date the Bible by many, many thousands of years. (And I am not referring to cavemen or human-like 'primates' either.) But that is another story, and I am not going to impose my learning on you. > Good luck with your life, Irrisheyes. > Soul Union. | |

I think Gene Roddenberry was a creative genius, to be honest - a rare individual. There are not many of his ilk around these days. > Live Long and Prosper. > Soul Union.

| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 3/7/2008 5:26:24 PM | | Happiness. When you are happy, nothing else matters. When you are not happy, nothing else matters anyway. | |
|
| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 3/7/2008 6:11:11 PM | The Bible makes that clear, if you believe biblical tenets, and tells us that God takes no part in the affairs of men. How did you arrive at this conclusion and where did you read it in the bible? God did intervene men/women's and nation's affairs. That is what He makes clear. He is returning to set up the Kingdom of God in Jerusalem and I suspect it will arrive sooner than you think. Watch the Middle East for 10 nations to come together( the last revival of the Roman Empire) and give their power to a charismatic leader ( I suspect a German as Germany is the most likely to be the powerful of the European nation's ) who will have the power over all ten. This leader will team up with a religious leader, A Roman Pope. Religion and State will work together with a mighty militaty army and powerful economic trade. You say you have studied the bible for 40 years so either you know this or you have no understanding of the Word of God. What ever you have is a gift from God and if you have God in your life and obey his Commandments, all 10 including the 4th for they were not nailed to the cross, only Your Savior was, things will go well with you. The 4th Commandment is a test commandment, which is a sign between God and his people. So the most important thing in life is to have God in your life and do what He tells you to do. | |

| What is Most Important in Life??? Posted: 3/7/2008 9:19:59 PM | It depends what you came to this Earth School for.
Not all people, are here for the same reasons. A VERY important thing to remember when interacting with other humans.
My best guess, is that I came here to learn about love and diminishing the EGO! The latter, I am achieving. The former, still eludes the comprehension of my EGO!
