I mean there are ALWAYS exceptions but why would you want a woman who focused 100% on looks in the first place. Have a unique and attractive personality and your success with women will skyrocket. Hot chicks get attention in our society. Face it, with the onslaught of all the so-called celebrity 'hotties' spilling into our living rooms nightly, our concept of 'hot' also comes with attitude. If a girl thinks she deserves a 'Brad Pitt' type then why would she settle for 'Elmer Fudd'?
And, i'd bet dollars to donuts that the 'hot chick' profiles get 10 times the email of the not-so-hotties of which probably 50% is ***holes sending pics of their johnson's and a snapshot of their bank account. So, their probably a bit tainted from all that 'special attention'.
Our society is very cosmetic. The idea of beauty is everywhere you look. Skinny 6 foot tall models with their boobs shoved under their chin. Freaks of nature.
So, about the question. The hotties don't give the average Joe a chance because the odds are in their favor. | |

Hot women do date average men all the time.
However things can go wrong, like in any relationship, or the guy turns out to be a loser, just like some of the HOT guys. | |

Posted: 8/12/2007 2:23:18 AM | | i'm sure by making this comment i'll leave myself open to a lot of criticism. i've wondered the same thing before, why can't women date an average guy? i know hot girls have and still do date average guys but it seems like a rare thing these days. i never saw it in high school. it was always the "beautiful" with the other "beautiful" people and as for the average people, well nobody seemed to give a shit about them. i know this stuff way to well, i've written amazingly beautiful girls on here and i cant tell you how many times i've seen "read deleted". its not a good feeling and it really lowers your confidence. i'm not saying that hot women refuse to be with average looking guys but i understand the topic of this thread. | |

I have had many men reject me based on my appearance (in fact someone just last week said I wasn't "perfect enough physically for him"... and he was what I would consider average in my opinion)..... and then I have had men tell me I am attractive.
I think its already been asked.. but if a guy thinks he himself is average and happens to gain the interest of an "average" woman why is that not acceptable? Why is HE then rejecting the average woman in persuit of the "hot" woman? | |

Oh, my, I'd have to ask what's wrong with him---maybe he's not a guy (jk)...Well, I'd have to say you've got pretty eyes, a FAN-TAS-TIQUE smile, and (judging by your pics) you can't be in such bad shape (you've got no "extra chin"). Too bad I don't live near you (like, say, in Toronto), I'd gladly hang out with you (and more!)
Perhaps guys oughta look more at the face---that's the first he'll see of her in the morning!LOL!

Maybe the hot girls don't go out with the "average"g uys bc all they do is complain how average they are, feel inferior, and ask stupid questions like "why won't you go out with me"
It has NOTHING to do with the girl--she can't help her genetic disposition, nor should she 'uglify' herself to get dates because guys don't ask her about because they feel threatened or intimidated by her beauty...nor she should be called a bimbo, ****, made to look like an idiot or a slut because she rejects someone..This is just ridiculous... | |

The "real" hot chicks don't have to have brains, they can just live off their "hotness," right? But that's what you "average joes" want, so far be it from any of the rest of us to try to make you see just what it is you are after.

Posted: 8/14/2007 3:14:26 PM | Back when I was going to college, I'd go back home every few weekends and typically went to a particular dance joint/bar. At the time I did NOT have a beard. There was a particular "Crystal Gayle" looking girl that I'd always ask to dance and she'd always dance once and be polite but never dance any more with me....
One weekend I went back home and this time I had a full beard....I asked her to dance and she danced, then I said thanks and she says "where do ya think you're going", I said ok and we stayed out there for several songs. I said I'll be back and went to the head, and a minute later she sent a friend in there after me telling me to hurry up!
I went back out there and she grabbed me and out dancing we went......
I said don't you recognize me? I reminded her who I was...she knew my name...this had been going on for months...
She looked shocked...but only for a moment..then said thanks, and was polite and that was the last dance for that night.
One dance each time I saw her after that..
I've kept my beard ever since then (that was about 1982 or thereabouts)...
She was always friendly, but she must have really liked the beard I guess, (and didn't really care for me without it..)
She was waayy prettier than I ever was....
But I still have the beard...complete with some gray in it now though he he... | |
