| Anyone from Texas HERE ??? If so introduce yourself Posted: 10/31/2006 4:52:46 AM | | Hi ya'll Victoria (The Golden Triangle). Hey I know where Bridgeport is. I don't think I ever heard anybody mentioning it except in the family. Spent my growing up day's there MANY A MOON ago. There is some Brideportians in Austin, Snyder, Conroe and a couple more here. Is there anybody from the other small towns in the area like Chico and Bowie? Move to Victoria back in 75. First thing I asked the local's is what is there to do in Victoria on the weekends. Their reply was YOU LEAVE. Go to Austin, SA, Corpus or Houston. They were right it's + distance from all the above. Tried once to bring a little culture to the area back in 87. Did two concerts an outdoor Asleep at the Wheel and Raging Cajun then followed up with an indoor Wild Cherry and Yesterday & Today. Victoria wasn't up to it go figure. My other partners in the precious crimes did one more capper after I threw up my arms and surrendered, Stepenwolf. Twasn't a pretty sight. Just wanted to mention a couple other places that I've lived in Kilgore, El Campo and (South, Bellaire and NW) Houston. Yall have a great one. | |
