Woo hoo - joined 3 days ago and now I can finally say Hi! in here. lol
I've lived in Victoria going on 13 years, but grew up in Greater Vancouver. Just love it here, although I really haven't taken advantage of all the opportunities around. Hmmm - maybe I prefer shared experiences ... Anyone out there interested?

Moved here to Chilliwack 17 years ago from East Coast and fell in love with BC at first sight. Grew up in military environment, worked for it, married into it, separated from it and now have son in it. Work in the health care industry and really enjoy it. Have two grown children that I am very proud of and are my greatest joy. I heard about this site from a co-worker and thought it might be a good way to meet people, as I am basically very shy. Haven't posted a pic yet as I am leery about such things on internet sites; maybe at some point.......enjoy reading the forums too!

I have been on here a couple months now and just NOW discovered the forum section...ok yes, I can be a bit slow at times, I am blonde after all!!! (that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!!!)
After reading some of the posts I figured this may also be a good way to meet new people and that is something I LOVE doing!

Been in "Mudville" aka Maillardville bout 7 yrs now.
Gone out on a few dates, met some great people, got me some new friends.
But i aint come across that great catch yet the one i want to bring into the boat for a good boink....oops meant bonk...y know the keeper..lol
Going by the name Pink Hootchie, Ya pink is my fav...got a problem with that?

I am sort of new to Victoria. BC. For the past 16 years I was living in Mexico. Last spring I chose to try out the snowbird thing ( winters in Mexico/summers in Canada). I just returned May 30th. I would like to submit my real name but it is far too uncommon as to comromise any anonymity I think I still retain.
I was born in Vancouver, and in my sixty years of mostly sticking within the Vancouver area, I have found it difficult to get out and network to the poiny where I would be knowing more people. I statrted volunteering and that appears to be somewhat fruitful insofar as putting me in closer proximity to like-minded people. Time will tell.
If I had not screwed up my masters program at SFU, I would be taking at least one course per semester - despite being the odd-ball old guy in the class. | |

I finally decided to do this as redundant as it is after putting a few posts on the board, but then I never was one to follow the norm.
I'll keep my name out of it, it's not so common and I do like a little mystery..lol
I have lived in Langley for 20 years, moved here from Prince George. My family is important to me. I have one beautiful daughter and two wonderful grandchildren.
I take life as it comes and have a lot of laughter in it.
As far as POF goes, I have no great expectations and am just hoping to meet some new people. If I should get lucky enough to meet a special guy that would just be a bonus.
