I am an adventurous gal, looking to meet that certain someone. I am more into LT relationships than anything... I am fun loving and have a positive outlook, looking to meet someone who has a good sense of humor, goal oriented and spontaneous...
Also looking to meet new friends, as I am such a people person lol

Posted: 7/24/2010 2:11:25 PM | Hi, all you POF people. It's been a while since I was active on POF, the forums were fun so I came back to them. I used to create POF events that were lots of fun too. Some of you might have come the events at Myles of Beans. It is no longer in business unfortunately. I am thinking of posting some more events so people could meet and mingle. I have been hosting an open Mic at the Fireside Cafe in Surrey for three years where there are people of all degrees of talent playing music and having fun. I think it could be a great POF event, what do you think?

I just signed on to PoF a little while ago, guess I should make a move instead of just looking at peoples' profiles trying to figure out how to proceed haha.
I live in Vancouver, run a small publishing company. I like to spend time outside, don't get to as much because of work (oh well, that's life). I also like cooking, reading, art, hanging out with friends.
My favourite thing to do is photo and film bald eagles living in the wild at the beach. It's always the same eagles, either at their nest site or on the Spanish Bank. I call them my neighbours! A lot of times people stop to talk to me, either exchange eagle stories of what they have seen when I wasn't around or marvel at this wonder of nature living among us.
I hope I can find people with similar interests/attitudes. There's a lot of folks using PoF, it can get a little . . . overwhelming at times. Sometimes there's nothing better to do that just plunge in I guess!

As soon as ladies see that unibrow they start thinking that I'm going to hit them with a club and drag them by the hair back to some filthy cave and do unspeakable things to them. Well , actually the things ARE speakable , but not in front of witnesses.
Anyway , as soon as the gals cop to that , there's no more eye contact and the conversation takes a nosedive. You can imagine how lonely that makes me. And then there's the chonic obstructive stupidity , the clinical bad attitude and the hammertoes. My doctor says that no one's ever gonna like me.
But I AM an optimist and I hope that one day there might be a a blind, stupid , tasteless girl that might fall for me on the basis of overwhelming hormones or something. Its a long shot but its the only shot I've got...
I am NOT an animal.

Posted: 6/16/2011 12:39:12 AM | My profile describes my id, my dark inner beast not appropriate for the public. I don't know why I have it as my profile. People who have read it have described me as sick, filthy, perverted, deserving to die. 
Whatever.
Here I'll describe to you the Dr. Jekyll to my profile's Mr. Hyde. If we ever dated face-to-face, this is the side of me you'll see for a long time, until I come to trust you (which takes awhile).
Some people think I'm really smart, some people think I'm a complete moron. Everyone will unanimously agree that I'm extremely polite, friendly, easygoing, sometimes a bit of a doormat, and have a very, very peculiar sense of humour. (Every group has the "weird one". Pfft. Amateurs!)
My long-term goals: build an equation for and prove my theory of gravity, start a MMORPG game company (or at least start in on building one), and start a family (though I'm running out of time for that one .. ugh).
Now, I know this profile is about me, but let's talk about you (or at least how I'll relate to you). I'd like to think I'm pretty empathetic. Years of being outside of most social circles has taught me how to detect the more subtle emotions. That said, I'm pretty guarded emotionally most of the time.
I'll likely find it very difficult to get enthusiastic about your interests unless they're already parallel with my own. For example, we won't get along if you spend half your life following sports and watching it on TV.
