Posted: 7/15/2006 10:57:17 PM | Greetings everyone. I'm Judy and I'm celebrating 14 years of living in Vancouver on Friday July 21st. I moved from Edmonton on my step sister's 40th birthday - she knew I was moving but she didn't expect me until August or September. I was born in Kenora (Ontario); raised in Winnipeg; spent time in Edmonton (no not jail - but the cold weather was punishment enough) and love living in Van.
I joined POF in February after a gent I met on another dating site and I became friends and he referred the site to me. He recommended it because it was free, they hold events and the forums are worth checking out. He was right!
I have been on a couple of sites but enjoy this the most - but ya gotta' jump in - and stop lurking! Been out to a few events but my social calendar keeps conflicting with the events! Dagnabit!

I dunno. Last time I was diagnosed I was told I was suffering from several classic freudian maladies. Among them, oedipal complex, penis envy, and a severe need for something warm and soft. I thought nothing can be done for the near antisocial mess that is Me. I thought I might be doomed to a life of paranioa and lonlinesss because some people consider Me too dangerous to Myself and society at large.
However I found My way here due to some friends, the real kind, not the ones the doctors say I can't play with anymore! I'm 32, My name's Darren, I'm from the northern part of BC and I really just want to get to know some interesting folks with some sense of humor.
So! In order to do this I promise I'll be nice and take My methadone every day. Honest injun, scouts honor, hope to die, stick a pitchfork in My eye. I'm off the pixie stix, high on life.. but I keep the sock puppet.. it's in My contract. Really.
I think I need to get some kleenex now though...

I'm Kate and have been with POF since March - as to the reason for the site name well ask me sometime. I just discovered the Forums and this one is a great idea.
Originally from Halifax, I skipped across the country to land in Langley.
My interests are basically in the arts i.e. painting, theatre, dancing. But I have been seen at car shows and walking just about anywhere.
I am very curious about everything and am a good listener.

POF nic means "what is this?" or my intrepretation 'WTF" its in Mandarin Chinese and yes I do speak it but not fluent as I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Transplanted to BC. to flee the mosquitoes but to find them breeding outside my door in the c-ment pond/ aka swamp. YIKES!

I'm originally from Germany. Moved to Canada in 82. Lived in Belleville Ontario for 7 years before finally coming to my senses and moving to Beautiful BC.... . Currently reside in Surrey, near Guildford.....(yeah great neighbourhood I know.... ).
Just looking to make some new friends for now and see where that goes.

I am very boring.. I have short black hair.. on my chest.. and Im quite short for a midget... I get joy from participating in "Hot Dog" eating contests... I win ... ALWAYS... I'm freakishly tall & could afford to loose some weight. I'm as exciting as a watching paint dry. I have no sense of humor as I'm told I'm not allowed to have one. I speak only when the voices in my head tell me too & therefore have no opinion of my own. Someone please give me one !!!! Iam waiting for my boobs that I bought from BC boy to come in but apparently the "tiny" one are on back order.
On the brighter side I do things that make BC boy very happy but he doesn't know about my secret affair with Islansugar. Hehehehe !!!! Don't tell him, it's a Christmas present.
