I dont take issue with the term. Infact insome cases its pretty freaky how closely the term actually matches the mindset involved..... some of them ARE REALLY predators.
And actually I didnt have a problem with folks who thought it was a joke until someone hiding under the identity of a teenage girl tried to add my son and all of his freinds to their facebook inorder to advertise a site devoted to cougars and those this particular pack prey on..... namely teenage boys.
Now im not saying that all women who like younger men are after teenagers.... but this site was being advertised to teenage boys. | |

Maybe it has something to do with the age restrictions in your profile.

The only thing I find a bit ridiculous about cougars is that they blame someone or something for their lifestyle. Or, as in the case highlited above, they act like it's a total surprise.
As well, given some of the posts in this thread by younger guys, I don't know why there seems to be a certain pride (from cougars) about being viewed that way. I fail to see the glory in it. | |

I didn't have much success in high school with the guys, so I am trying to catch up now, and see what is out there, for worthwhile companionship,
Somebody with manners, or who I can teach good manners to anyway, that is not cheap, and looks sexy when they are out with me! Ha ha..!!

LOL...My buddies used to call me 'The Cougar Hunter'  ... Seriously
& After a couple relationships w/cougars I decided to find someone I can grow old with....still looking, but Man...my cougar chicks had a really high sex drive
& Cougars are not exclusively chicks in their 40s, it just means a hot older woman.
My 1st Catch was a 36yr old red head cougar & I was 19....Wowie ...and she was feisty ;-)
