I know a lot of women in real life; and some are jaded, some are hurt, some are angry (for a lot of reasons; but quite a few of them is because of so many misperceptions and bashings by men) but quite a lot ARE sweet, gentle, kind and many are a whole lot shy. IF that is what floats your boat.
I don't think your view of the world gives you as much of a cross section as you'd think; as probably some of hte people you are hitting at night are women who are on the prowl, drank too much, do the clubbing thing or whatever; you won't find someone like that prowling the streets alone at night NEEDING a cab to get home.
So just because you don't see them in your job doesn't mean they don't exist. A lot of them do. I know a ton of them. But I also know people that, though they don't fit your wanted stereotype; are pretty amazing people as well. And though I do know some maneaters for real; most women I know are pretty amazing, whether they simper and bat their eyelashes or do the full on face eye uh, frak.
But volunteering, churches, places like that you will find more than late at night in the club scene. | |

Time, you too, grew up and faced the fact that we are all human being with flaws, strengths, ambitions (Diana had an enormous ambition: to be the Princess of Wales and, quite possibly, Royal Consort - nothing sweet about that woman). My grandmother is dead, I am kind whenever the situation suits - but not always (are you?), I have volunteered but I do prefer to earn my living....
It worries me, a bit, that the OP wants a 'sweet and innocent girl' and not a woman. Is he a pedophile? Clearly he isn't into women who like sex; is he really after girls, I wonder. What is it with grown men who want women to be children? Fragile, shy, withdrawn, repressed, suppressed.... Gawd. I see such women in my clinic battered black and blue by their husbands who can't stand it when such a little woman expresses what she wants for a change. This is horrible stuff. Time for guys like the OP to man up and see women in their strength and courage, in their reality. Time to throw away Disney representations of things. | |

She's sitting in a chair outside family court, waiting for her ex to explain to the judge why he can't pay child support. She's answering e-mails from dudes that are offering FWB, FB, ONS, NSA, etc. She's heard "at this point in my life I'm just looking for a little fun" one too many times.
She's taking care of herself. She's tired of empty promises. She's hanging out with her friends instead of dating. So...sorry if she seems a little jaded & cynical & not quite as sweet & innocent as she was.
