I thought about taking the friendship to a romantic level...I decided against it, but his words I thought were brilliant...because he really meant it

Dr. Phil told his son, "With all of the great little boys in the world, how did I get so lucky that God gave ME the very best one?"
Nice thread. Makes me smile!

| the nicest thing someone has ever said to you Posted: 12/18/2005 1:28:13 PM | This has been one of the nicest, most uplifting threads I have seen in a public forum. I want to say thank you to each of you for sharing such important messages. My daughter, who is 6, and I have a lovely game we play before I tuck her in bed for the night... It goes something like this, "I love you more than _______" and we try to outdo each other, which is really fun for both of us. In her precious innocence, she will say "Mommy, I love you more than all the sparkles on a fairy wing", or "I love you more than a thousand hugs"..... One time after I had been particularly grumpy to her, I asked her to forgive me and she said, "I will always have forgivings for you" | |

| the nicest thing someone has ever said to you Posted: 12/18/2005 3:03:29 PM | There was one other very special thing that happened to me. A former student told me I was the best teacher she ever had. She told me when she was in her 30s and I had her in third grade when she was nine...THAT was sure a special thing! It also inspired me to tell MY favorite teacher the same thing. He was a high school teacher that worked in the same system with me. I know lots of kids have favorite teachers~ It means the world to us to hear about it. ( We sure aren't in it for the money!!)
I agree with Scott's Mom..YahooYahoo must be one of the really GREAT Moms.
