Posted: 6/24/2005 4:18:10 PM | I had a visitor last weekend.  He is a man I have been messaging back and forth with for 6 yrs, never planned on meeting up.. he is a really good friend. He says the sweetest things.
Text messages after he met me for the first time in 6 yrs.
David: "I miss you".
Lisa: "I miss you lil bits too".
David: "Just a lilbits?"
Lisa: "Yup!"
David: "I miss you more then I missed my mind the day I lost it"
(next text) "after seeing you for the first time."
Lisa: "awww that is so sweet"
David: "I miss you more then I miss the heart you stole from me"
At that point I just clammed up.. was at work and well... to me, though that is sweet as it can be. It kinda scared me a lilbits. 
He is going to take that 7 hour trip again this weekend.  Bless his heart.  | |

Outside that environment, in a world where I have to be somewhat painful in my job, I've had some expressions by several who were grateful for what I did. The other day, a woman, after I saw her, asked "Can I hug you?",,,haha,,imagine that. WEll, I told her, "Of course you can." She gave me a big hug and I patted her on the back. I'm not entirely without a heart. | |

Posted: 6/25/2005 9:22:46 PM | | it wasn't really what this guy said, is was more what he did, me and some friends went out to a club cause one of our friends was leaving for several months, it was kinda of a goodbye celebration. Anyways the guy that was leaving I had a bit of a crush on. When I tried to get into the club I didn't have the correct ID so they wouldn't let me, I was so upset not knowing the guy who the party was for saw what was happening, I went outside and next thing I know there he was standing there beside me, and all he said was lets go get a coffee(no one else even cared enough to come out to see where I was) we ended up missing his going away party to just sit outside in the car middle of winter while everyone else partied the night away. Thats the nicest and least selfish thing anyone has ever done for me. | |

Posted: 6/25/2005 11:40:53 PM | I can't pick just one thing... but recently the most incredible thing was a friend telling me that I was not expandable or disposable (feelings due to residual emotions from a not so recent breakup) to him. Not only was it sincere and honest... but he didn't even have to say a damn thing.
Now that.. is an amazing friend.. and made that hurt much more bareable. So.. you know who you are.. thank you. | |
