| Are people afraid to post in the Georgia Forums???

my question is why do they keep the same forums for months on end? I get tired of reading the same ones. POF it's time to delete!!!
I'm new to this..... but.. they only stay active if people post on them.. right? I've enjoyed going back and reading some of them. I'll admit I wandered into a couple of them that had me wondering though. I think the key is to just create fresh new threads if the same 'ole ones are feeling stale.
cute name, btw... touchoftink.. i know a girl that would wish she had thought of it..lol

I backed up and saw an earlier post from the person asking about 'old forum's'.... several things....
Some forums... like our good morning thread and our 3 items at wally world and our now defunct ^ > v thread endured because they are interesting and fun.
And on occasion someone will go BACK into the archives and bump a dead thread. We had a former member who loved to see his name, so he would bump every old thread he could find after we went to bed. It made us go dig our current threads off the next page! You get used to that kind of silliness. | |

Jon - You wouldn't believe how many people will create an account and yes, will be too afraid to post! It's a HUGE step between posting a profile and then actually, stepping out on the dance floor!
But no one should be afraid to post here. A group of us have been around a looooooong time and as you can see, we stick up for each other. Most of us have met, we're really friends... it's not just a surface internet thing. We really really like each other.

Wolfie is someone who keeps putting up a profile here under different names and causing all kinds of HELL!!here in the Georgia forums. Billy has been here under several names and Wolf is one of them.He sticks around till he hangs himself and gets taken off site by the BIG FISHES!!!
He has caused so much trouble alot of people have left the site or stopped posting here. No matter what name he is under the posting is always the same pattern of hate.Iam sure someone else can say it better then I can. I hope this helps out.

Doug said it very well. Wolfie ran a lot of the "friendly" posters out of here. The forums once was like "Cheers"........were everyone knew your name....your real name. A lot of the people I still talk to on the phone, Sneaks, SweetTea, Girly, Skunk, LorilitheLady, Ruthannah, Janny, Zee and DB use to post here on a regular basis (everyday). Some have stopped posting so much because of him. I don't post here as often anymore because I am so busy and because I got tired of all the arguing between posters, caused from something Wolfie would start.
When you "jump" on one of us in the GA forums, you have "jumped" on all of us. We take up for each other here......because we have became friends.
It's not nice to mess with the GA forum gang........we will get you
