Posted: 1/22/2008 1:49:05 PM | Yes..I think anything is possible!..But there is a hugh risk of disappointment when you do actually meet. I would suggest that the meeting take place ASAP..Therefore, you will have your answer and avoid wasting so much time, energy and maybe the chance of meeting the right one..
It would be like..Talking to someone on the phone ( co-worker etc) that you deal with all the time..(We tend to create an Image of them)..But when you actually get the chance to meet them, the first thing you think is;.."He/She is not at all how I imagined them"..We have all experienced this..
Physical attraction is either there or its not...50/50 chance!..JMO.. | |

My last boyfriend strongly resembled Richard Gere ( older, Gere ) with a great sense of humor. IMO...its the looks that attract first. I corresponded with a guy on several occasions before meeting - was extremely disappointed. I don't have a physical type, but whatever it may be, he didn't come close to it. I'm not trying to be mean - just honest. | |

Posted: 3/8/2008 11:18:41 PM |  ....YES!! I do because I'm living it right now. I am a woman and I met this woman online. We started talking February 11th of '07. We exchanged numbers a short time after because I have to hear the persons voice. Well, I did...OMG....I lost it after that it seemed like. By June 26th '07 we had made plans to meet in Nashville TN. We did. We spent one GREAT week together. It was so amazing!! It was time for her to go June 31st. I drove her to the airport and we cried. I knew right then that she was the woman I wanted to be with. Before she boarded the plane..I grabbed her and told her I wasn't finished. She asked what I meant. Well, September 1st I showed up in her hometown. Thats right...I packed up and moved to be with her. It was sudden but it was the best move of my life!! We are still together....LIVING together....AND very much IN-LOVE!! I LOVE HER WITH EVERY BREATH IN ME  .....well I guess thats all I wanted to say...LOL take care all | |

Posted: 3/12/2008 4:20:16 AM | YES it can most definetly happen and did with Amber and I! So, we can both attest to the fact that it can and does happen. When you really get to know someone through messaging and phone calls, you are not so pressured to make sure every hair is perfectly in place, so to speak, and for me anyway, feel more at ease. I also believe you get to know and love someone from inside out, which is the way true love is supposed to be anyway right? Am I wrong anyone? Thanks!

THERE IS AN ATTRACTION THAT HAPPENS. YOU HAVE MORE, THAN JUST A FRIENDSHIP CHATTING, IT TURND INTO LOTS MORE THAN THAT. GUYS WOULD SAY IT'S JUST FRIENDSHIP. BUT WHEN, U CHAT THAT MUCH, ONLINE OR PHONE CALLS. IT'S JUST AS EASY TO FALL IN LOVE THAT WAY . Posted: 5/26/2009 12:32:42 AM | HELL NO!You said it all and I quote"to actually fall in love with just messages and phone calls".You're IN love with merely words..words contained in messages and phone calls sadly,they're not even words spoken in person.This is the reason for most folks' depressing and pitiful failed relationships,rushing full speed into a relationship with someone you really do not know.Then to base this solely on the expression of words is asinine,you're setting yourself up for heartache.Everyone wants to believe in this mythological fairytale of preordained or destined love,like God or whomever has
decreed a certain 2 souls be intertwined eternally.This foolish notion is why some folks are doomed to have failure after failure when it comes to love,they're chasing after something that just does not exist.Love is something folks are just way to liberal with anymore,I used to think people rationalized sex=love but now days it's more like:
Mere words/attention/or an act of kindness=love.Wake up!I think love is something that builds as you get to really know someone...their true inner being and nature.Love is not as simple as a worded message or a phone call,love isn't real just because someone happened to say exactly what you needed/wanted to hear at just the right time.Don't take this personally but I would be seriously concerned for a person's mental well being if they felt as if they loved someone based solely on worded expression.It seems like it cries of total desperation and lonliness to me but hell,what do I know? | |
