| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 4:07:31 PM | I would probably answer that question with "Someone who nurtures my spirit."
To elaborate, someone who helps me grow and develop and become a better and happier person, for whom I'd fill the same role. A truly compatible companion. And by all means, sprinkle liberally with orgasms.

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 5:04:59 PM | I was hoping to find the love of my life, and I believe that I have. I still am hoping to find just one thread though without pointless bickering.
to post # 36, and others like it, the answer to your redundant question can be found in the posting guidelines, bold added
Thread "Redundancy" occurs when the same topics are continuously created. No one wants to see the first page of any forum with the same tired topics. While you may believe the topic is new, it may not be - so please search first (Instructions Here), and simply join that discussion that is in progress, to either gain your answer, or to add your opinion, even if it has been added already. The site likes to keep the forums free of these tired subjects so don't be surprised if your topic is removed. If you don't understand this concept - please read further here Purpose of The Forums and Why Redundant Threads Are Deleted.

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 5:12:33 PM | LOL! that kind of response is NEVER a smart one on a first date! But it is incredibly funny! LOL! I was asked that recently and I said: something that could lead to long term. his response was: be friends first and see where it goes from there. But what he meant was the same thing you blared out! | |

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 5:46:13 PM | If I was in a serious mood, I'd probably say, "What I get, whatever I learn." I try to take things one moment at a time, and to be happy with what is here and now. I'm living, not looking. If one day my living starts to coincide with, and include, another specific person more and more often, that's good too! If not, I'm still enjoying myself.
If I was in a playful mood, I'd probably say something silly, like "Find? I don't think I lost anything. . . did I lose something? How come I didn't know?" or any other of a half-dozen silly things that come to mind.
If I was in a bad mood (it does happen, about once every 3 years or so; ask my students!), I'd probably say, "The date I was supposed to meet. You clearly can't be him if you are asking questions like that!"

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 7:10:01 PM | i would like to hope that the answer i'd have would be close if not the same as what the guy would say..... someone that's not abusive, clean, has some things in common. if all else fails then hopefully i'd like to find my run down old shack to move into, watch the sunsets alone and hope that everyone else finds what they want. | |

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 7:28:43 PM | Someone with some interests that overlap mine, but not too many - it would be boring to have a clone. Someone who appreciates the absurdities of everyday life. Someone who can laugh at himself and enjoy the joke. Someone who will appreciate all of what I have to offer, including absolute loyalty and honesty. Someone who can give me the same loyalty and honesty. Someone who will appreciate my abilities without feeling threatened by any of them. And he'll get the same from me.
P.S.: It's also important that he like animals, he'll be likely to end up having one or more sleep on the bed. Besides, they provide most of the really rewarding and absurd things in my life. (If you think Meets are stressful, try dealing with an amorous billy goat.)

I too am just as relevant as she pretends to think she is.
This is a violation of rule one, and rule two.
RULE ONE Insult anyone directly or indirectly and your posting rights will be suspended or revoked. ZERO Tolerance for the Following Forums
RULE TWO Reply to the thread topic or statements ONLY.
The Rest of The Rules Please ensure that all your replies are to the topic and nothing else. If your reply isn't related to the actual topic, then it's considered off topic or simply chatting, and will be removed.
Frankly this mindset of being "smart" because its a whole new crowd now is arrogant
the thread where this was originally posted was regarding "stupid" things men do. A comment was made about it being "stupid" to bring back an old thread. Therefore I replied why I did so and why I thought it was "smart." It was not at all arrogant. It was on topic, because the topic was about stupid things, and I chose to disagree, that bringing back and old topic is not stupid.
Rather than comment on your other forum violations, where you continue to trash me personally, I will just suggest you take the time to read the rules if you chose to participate here.

| She asks: What do you hope to find? Posted: 9/30/2009 8:38:49 PM | The last and the best love of my life. Essentially this. As far as specifics, I'm open. But I will meet/find him in RL, not on POF; I am only or primarilly here for the forums. | |
