Your being smarter than most! Good going Lady!! I say Georgia is a great place to live and that sometimes depends on where. I love the mountains or the upper reaches of Georgia! One day I will retire there....Uhhhhhh, not to soon though!!

Some people don't understand and I guess those are the ones I should avoid anyway. I think Georgia is a great place to live too. Born and raised here. The mountains are beautiful in the Fall.......great place to retire.

Posted: 9/12/2007 10:56:10 PM | Well I am not passive nor ashamed...but I agree with livin life, being safe is best as we all need to sit back and read for awhile on the forums and get an idea of what a person is saying and how they are saying it. Are they real and respectful of others and themselves, or are they just playing games? I don't think but a minut few want or appreciate players full of head games and a line of BS~>ohhh plauseeeeee spare us all. Open and Honest is the smartest and best way to let someone get to know you~The smartest people on here are readers and observers IMHO~>Have a great Thursday Everyone, we all deserve a great day~Red

| Why are georgians so passive why not introduce yourselves?? Posted: 11/8/2007 7:45:59 AM | Just thought I'd say HI!
*giggles*
I think that the problem isn't just Georgians and Georgia people not returning mail... I believe this occurs with a lot of different people from different places.
It seems I find more men complaining on POF about lack of mail and returned mail than the ladies. I can only guess that it could be because the reality of it is... that there are more men that make the first intros than ladies. Most ladies expect the guys to drop the lines. Old fashioned? Maybe.
Seems people (ladies too) shift through their mail...and only respond to the ones they want to. Typical.
Perhaps, there is a misconception if your respond to someone’s letter...that your automatically interested? I though responding was just polite...*smiles*
I think lots of people need to go back to the basics. If ya get a letter...greet and reply.
It's really that easy.
Personally, if you write me...I write back. No matter who you are. If you one line me...ya get pretty much a one liner back...lol. (visa versa)
Good luck...and remember it's just not Georgians.*smiles*

| Why are georgians so passive why not introduce yourselves?? Posted: 2/20/2008 5:01:39 PM | well i am from albany, returned a year or so ago after being gone since 1991 and this is what i've noticed. People are not confident, people are scared of what everyone will think of them-----this is the hardest area to date in.........hands down. For me---I like cool places that I'm not scared im going to get beat up in the bathroom, or get offered a crack pipe (yes it has happened), WOMEN wanting to fight omg the horror stories...there are just NO quality places to go to that are not super rednecky or getto....so if you should ever see me in Books a Million please come talk to me........and yes I would love a coffee!!! | |
