| AVERAGE SIZE for females....

every girl can just post recent pics of herself wearing a bikini. then if you are a guy, at least you know what youre getting before you meet. then you dont need to worry about "average" or "athletic" or whatever else people call themselves...
if you meet and the pics werent actually her,  also makes girls appear more physically attractive. | |

And every man can post his bank statement, his W2's, photos of his home, & photos of his car.....just as shallow...give me a break.....I was sad about turning 30...but I won't miss this kind of mentality found on a regular basis while in my twenties. As I get older, I'm hoping there is more to it than how I would look in a bikini.
I'm all about exercising, being healthy, & feeling good about one's self. Ladies, please stop beating yourselves up. Post recent, fully-clothed pictures of yourself & put whatever you want in that "body type" field - there is no need to apologize or defend your decision. | |

"As I get older, I'm hoping there is more to it than how I would look in a bikini" - well there is, but i can assure u that i dont know anyone no matter what there age is that sees an (what they consider to be) ugly person, and thinks "well s/he is really ugly, but i wonder if they have a nice personality. im really curious and im looking forward to talking to that person." have you ever done that? no, probably not. a bf/gf relationship starts with physical attraction or $ attraction in some cases. a solid relationship is simply a combination of mutual physical attraction and, more obviously, a good personality match.
now are u going to go out of ur way to find ugly guys with a good personality? if you are, thats commendable.  | |

An average for a female is what YOU (male and female) like --- I do not beleive it has anything to do with age - - but, it does have to do with height and body mass - if you work out,muscle weighs more than fat, therefore you are heavier in pounds - weight is not a major factor-- it's EYE VIEW -especially if you work out... Posted: 8/31/2008 8:52:17 AM | I am glad to see the thread that I started is still going ... thou I have read many post here that have bicked as well as give other "excuses" to cover up....some info that other's have posted...the statistics back from the 70's were correct then when stated that "average"size was between 10 - 14...but we have progressed since that time era and the since "average" size does remains under a size 10 for here in the states.....other countries it DOES vary.
Just remember...if you not like what you read here in this post....you were not forced to participate.  | |

A size 10-14 in the 70's is closer to a size 6-8 now. I don't know when or why they changed. Really, look at sewing patterns for a size 10 fom the 70's and seweing patterns for a size 10 now. I think women who were larger than 12 decided that they didn't like those big numbers and so sizes changed.
I've seen women I think are large and women I think are tiny both say they are average. If you are 5'5'' and weight 165#, but you're entire family is over 250# as well and you have some larger friends you see yourself as average. Since there are not specific guidelines on this site as to what each site entails, it's a good idea to look at recent pics. Almost every guy I have seen onhere lists himself as athletic. Athletic says body builder to me :) | |

Because all the "average" women size 12-18 flock to the shelves and aisles before you get there and buy the store out like a herd of heifers at a feed trough.....So all you see is the smaller sizes. You need to shop earlier in the week. They aren't called moomoo's for no reason ......  | |

Because no offence, but my weight is none of your da** business. Bottom line. You think the whole average argument is bad...try explaining that 150, or even 200 pounds on even a tiny woman (5') is greatly skewed by a set of DD bosoms (pre weight gain, btw...I was a C by the age of twelve) and let's not even get into what happens when you have a generous bottom. I'm fat. I am not average, or a little chunky, or whatever. I am fat. I have gotten massive response from men on this site and from both my picture and my open descriptions of my appearance, I have stil had considerable interest. I have told people my exact weight (and no Beard Dude, I'm not saying what it is...sheesh) and they look at me and go "no f***in' way", because it sounds ginormous. I am fat, but not Gilbert Grape's mom fat. No one wil be lifting me out of the house with a crane anytime soon, and I can tie my own shoes and everything.
Now, if you aren't attracted to me, you aren't attracted to me. That is also the bottom line. I can't force one to find my particular brand of awesome squishiness sexy if they don't. But if you bring your (universal you, not directed to any one poster) wrinkly, balding, potbellied, unwashed, dumb, misspellin' self over to me and want me to find you attractive, well, sorry, as the Magic 8 Ball would say, signs point to "no".
So ladies, the LittlebittyMind guy or whatever his name was, or Beard Dude, or any of these other guys who want a thinner woman, thin ladies, there're your men. Us pudgier girls will find a guy who likes a little bit more to 'em. And it isn't just the fatties matchin the fatties either...my last lover was rail thin and beautifully cut and thinks that heaven lies between my...ears. :)
Isn't it nice that there is someone out there for everyone?

Because muscle mass weighs more than fat. I 5'2 woman weighing 125 lbs in great shape would be a size 0 while the same size/weight in all fat would be giggly blob.
EE - 5lbs from each side is a DD so a DD -5lbs from each side would be a B? That doesnt explain your weight, dont blame your boobs... blame all that food you have consumed and the lack of exercise.
If there was someone out there for everyone, you'd still be with your rail thin guy! You show me a fit and physicallt healthy person of either gender who intentionally seeks out someone obese and I will show you a dysfunctional person. Show me a dysfunctional person and I will show you a relationship that will not work.
Your post has nothing to do with the forum topic which is why women say they are average when indeed they are, by medical standards, obese.
I really wish the mods would delete this thread, it's like one of those horror movie monsters that wont die and every now and again someone steps into the dark room and the monster comes alive. | |
