Those white men should have no trouble finding their preference here in South Florida. However, Viking, I think you look beautiful and believe a woman should have curves and some meat on their bones to look healthy. I've seen some women so thin with such obvious boob jobs (and other obvious work), to me it does not look attractive at all! But then I'm not a man, but I know there are men out there who feel the same!

Posted: 12/21/2008 10:56:29 AM | I don't think if a woman weighed 165 she would wear a size 12 unless it was a woman's size 12. When I weighed 150 I wore a size 11/12. From December 2007 till March 2008 I lost 30 lbs. I wore a size 18 when I was bigger now I'm between 168 & 170 and I can wear a size 14 but I mostly wear the size 16 cause I don't like the way the 14 fits. I'm short waisted and I don't like those low cut jeans.
The average size female in the USA isn't a super model size they are bigger. Which I don't think one's self worth should be judged by the size of the person.To each his or her own is my motto.
What gripes me is to read on a guy's profile " NO FAT CHICKS" that's simply rude dude!!! | |

I don’t KNOW the answer to that one, accept to say, that if I find myself on a ‘RUNWAY’ in the near future - whether it be an SRQ or TPA runway……..I sure don’t plan on SLIDING OFF!!! (at least not UNTIL I have ‘landed’ successfully!!!.

All of us want to feel good about ourselves and many certainly want to be seen as attractive. Some choose a description because that is what they want to be. Others are in denial. Descriptions are subjective and that is why I often don't care for them. What I prefer is being able to put in an exact number for weight. If my upper limit is 200 lbs then I'm not going to want to have a relationship with a person that weighs 250. What good does it do either of us to meet only to find out that we aren't a good match? Some things we know ahead of time.
I realize it has been considered impolite to ask a lady her age and weight. But we are looking for a potential partner here and not just chatting with a person at a party. We are going to wake up with each other in bed. See each other getting dressed. At our first meeting we are going to see if one of us is a lot heavier than expected. For me that can create a bit of an awkward situation. I always strive to be polite and kind and would never tell a lady I find her unattractive. However, I have found some I've met to be unattractive and we didn't get past a first date.
Please give me a correct age. I know, some look much younger but age isn't just about looks. It can also be about when that person will be able to retire and be free to do things.
Please give me a correct weight with full-body photos that show how your height and weight work out in reality.
Please give me some written information about who you are and what you're like - more than just 2-3 lines.
By doing that we might prevent useless and disappointing first dates. | |

I'm the same height/weight as the above poster but I'm not a size 5. Instead, a size 6/8 (pants). What may be average to some may not be average to others - who cares! If you're comfortable in your skin (confident) and maintain a healthy BMI (according to your doctor), that's what really matters. Personally, I prefer a healthy mind and quality soul ... GQ men, not so much. | |

What may be average to some may not be average to others The whole purpose in this abortion of a thread - and I mean abortion in both the kindest and ugliest of ways - is that toooooo often a guy looks at a womans profile and she has defined herself as "average" and all toooooo often she is soooooo far from average there is no way the two definitions can come from the same dictionary.
Not even the old "not too fat, not too skinny" definition works as fat and skinny are subjective and who defines too fat and too skiny?
What most women apparently perceive as average, most men perceive as massively overweight... and therein lie the problem. Our perceptions and expectations are different. | |
