serious distaste for real women with curves
Personally I love a "real woman" of any shape... I'm just not fond of women who chose to be unhealthy. Show me an unhealthy body and 95% of the time I will show you an unhealthy mind.
Is it just me or does anyone else understand why aprincelyfrog is still single
Ahh... the direct and personal attack... always a sure sign the attacker has an indefensible position.
For someone who claims to be an executive in his profile (highly suspect), he certainly wreaks of adolescence...like he an his co-hort(s) are still in high school. This is the behavior and dialogue that high school boys have... *eye roll*
Yep. That's us... young at heart! You get to be that way when you continually date healthy women! It's dating mean, bitter women who blame advertisements, height/weight charts and every thing else for their physical appearance and loneliness that make us old.
I have said it before, if its because of meds or injuries who cares... the weight can't be controlled and you stand by your mate. But if its a lifestyle choice based on excuses and laziness then who would want that person?
See, I figure we have to keep coming back till we get it. So, these dudes and dudettes have a date with the karma fairy. And man, is it going to be U.G.L.Y. . . . .
hhhhmmmmm.... we meaning whom? The healthy people or the overweight people? Perhaps its not us the Karma Fairy is after, perhaps she is using her wand to blind certain people to the realities of their health until they learn the lesson of personal responsibility... just something to think about. | |

I have been to many events that Princely Frog has hosted. I know that he respects me and always has nice things to say about me. His time spent on the computer is well spent planning many events that we POF'ers have the pleasure of attending. If not for the hard work and effort of him and others, we would be sitting home at night. I for one am grateful for people like Princely.
Ok...now to the "fat" debate. I am a big girl. I exercise, eat healthy and I have a positive outlook. I don't worry about who is going to like me or not. My priority is to make sure I like myself, that I have morals and that I respect myself. A healthy mind makes for a healthy person.
You will not find me labeling myself by attending BBW dances. Who wants to be in a room full of angry, lonely, desparate women who think they need to all group together in a room so they can be chosen like cattle by men who do not respect them and just want to use them. I would rather be in a room full of diversified people, ones whom I can learn from. People who are good role models and want to associate with you no matter what you look like.
Ok so now I will get off my soapbox. I just had to respond. Not in defense of Princely, who needs no defense at all. He is a wonderful kind caring man who tells it like it is. Some people find that hard to take. Me, I find it refreshing. If you knew Princely you would have a whole different opinion of him. Thanks to computers and their inability to show real feelings and emotions we are sometimes misled. Guess thats why we have POF Events!!!

As far as Mr Frog is concerned...his words speak of who he truly is ~ actions don't always speaker louder than words, no matter how nice he is to you or any other BBW ... ENOUGH SAID!
Now, which BBW dances have you been to? Since moving to Florida (a little over 4 years ago) I have attended many BBW dances in many different cities and they are NOTHING like what you've described! The dances are not & have never been strictly for BBW...as a matter of fact most, if not all, the BBW dances that I've attended have had regulars of thin to average size ~ yes, both men & women.
I currently attend a BBW dance, at Biggie Nights (held every Saturday), in the Howard Johnson's in Tampa on 50th Street. If you are ever inerested in attending a BBW dance that is a ton (no pun intended  ) of fun...let me know & I will personaly introduce you to many wonerful people ~ all of which are far from angry, lonely or desperate!!

We all make choices that are right for us and make us happy. I prefer to attend functions that are open to all and not labeled by body size or any other category dealing with someone's looks. I am very happy with the POF events that I have attended and have met some wonderful people. I am sure you have also met some very nice people at the dances you attend. Guess that makes us two very HAPPY chicks!!! Best of luck to you and much happiness. As for Princely Frog....He has always shown me respect so in turn thats what he gets from me. I may not always agree with what he says but I respect his right to an opinion.

This is a *Body Type* not a "How do I fair against others" category. Look at the other choices: Thin, Athletic, A Few Extra Pounds and BBW. While this is an inconsistent list, it is fairly similar to what we are all taught in high school gym class (Endomorphs, ectomorphs, mesomorphs etc).
Now for anyone to decide to select Average and make it mean something different than the other options in this dropdown is just silly. To average something means you need to know the sample group to compare against. This is by far the most fuzzy and self-affirming section in pof. And it is the most inaccurate. The developer of the site simply did not do his homework on this dropdown.
It makes more sense to see these options: thin, regular, athletic, heavy, obese. These are basic descriptions, not meant to give you a better feel about who you are, but meant to give others a feel for who you are.
And again, no intent here to hurt feelings, just trying to get to the heart of the matter. | |

Ah, I think not hun he does it so he can meet someone himself and nobody else was doing it. So he had an agenda just like the rest of us do. He just said he found someone at the last one so there ya go.
Regardless of how he treats someone in a social situation when one is on their best behaviour anyway, He has more than once proven that one if his agenda's is to get online and hide behind his computer and bash "the fat chicks" but then better yet trying to play it all off like it is a big joke when people get offeneded. But you see nobody's frickin laughing here are they Deb? His method of entertainment doesn't reflect very well on his character as a man to me and many others on here that he offends?

I am sure I misread this Sapphire, but are you saying I am kissing a frogs arse? 
I also thought attending POF events was a chance to perhaps meet someone you may want to date. So what is wrong with hosting them or attending them for this purpose?
Anyway....I think this thread has really gotten off track...so Cajun, wanna help me put the train back on the tracks, pass out a few hurricanes, play some good music and put smiles on everyones faces again. I can feel the love!!!

Mr Frog needs to remember that we are all here on POF for the same reason and hence....PLENTY OF FISH ~he's definately not for me and I think...yup, I definately think I'm not his type either....lol !! If he would spend as much time persuing someone as he does being critical of others ~ he'd be married by now 
As far as Deb is concerned, I just don't think she'll ever get it & it's a shame because while he's smiling & making nice in front of her he's laughing about her behind her.
I can't wait to see how he responds to our posts.
I have to admit that I truly don't care because it's not as if I'm ever going to meet him but I do wonder if so many people feel he's bashing "fat chicks"...how come he hasn't been banned from the sight?
