yes I am aware of the practicality of shorter nails
yes I can do normal things with them
yes they are ALWAYS clean
no I do not care for long nails on a man if it is an affected look (call me biased)
long toenails on anyone is just wrong,keep them scratchy feet to yourself

But the over the top ones which stick out a half to three quarters of an inch beyond the flesh...egad. NO. And.... have you ever seen those Zombie nails, where they let them grow until they curl up???? Now thats is disgusting!
On Men: I'm a guitar player, and there is No need to grow your nails out more than just a bit beyond the flesh in order to pick strings. I only use them for the classical guitar. If you got some guitar player boyfriend with half inch long nails... he's turnin' yer crank. ha! | |

As for women, I don't care because I don't look at women. I suppose if a lady keeps her nails clean, it's her business how long they are. | |

Do you mean fake as in the old press on kind? Because with the new arcylics..you can't really tell, unless I tell you..in my case...my nails can't grow long..too weak and thin, so because I like nice nails and painting them...I have them done... | |

Posted: 12/18/2007 10:00:28 AM | Long nails, whether French manicure, Flat-French, or those disgustingly long nails with the jewelry glued to them,.. or the "multi-colored-mini-mural" depicting Christ's last supper scene, or Mona Lisa, are for girls who NEVER use their hands for anything but eating (I'd wager they remove entangled toilet paper off the jewelry as well, as much as they use!) I like a woman with short nails. They usually keep them that way because they actually DO SOMETHING with their hands. Besides those long nails & jewelry can scratch the paint on My Harley,.. when they're polishing...    | |
