Header is AWESOME! Love it.
Photos are AWFUL, please have someone (besides your extended arms) take some good ones of you. Need at least one body shot and something outdoors. Close up of the face with smile is nice but not the ones you currently have.
Profession...I don't want you to tell me later. I wanna know now!

Your header is boring. Jazz it up.
You have a beautiful smile and your photo is great but you need more. Need about three more and at least one of them should be a body shot. Keep them nice and clear like the one you've posted.
Interests section is the best place to list all the things you love to do. You have a nice beginning but put more! Be sure to put a comma between each activity.
Text is kinda average. Nothing unusual, nothing that sets you apart from the herd. Think about who you really are and jot down a few more sentences.

Your profile is basically fine. I would remove the 2nd and 3rd photo entirely and take a couple new ones.
Don't know who's baby that is but try not to have photos with childen. Could be a turn off, even if they aren't yours.
Would like to see a great big smile on your face and would also like to see a body shot. You said you camp, so maybe an outdoor shot of you camping.
As for not getting any e-mail, let me tell you what worked for me. Do a zip code search of your area and age range you are interested in. Every face that appeals to you, send an email. For every 10 you are guaranteed 1 response. Evenutally you'll start e-mailing folks and after your own screening process, you'll be able to narrow it down to one or two people you want to have a first date with.
Always keep those e-mails flying until you are successfully dating one man for a significant period of time.

Posted: 6/22/2006 7:49:33 PM | Take a look. Most folks say it's dark and depressing. But that's what I am -- my coworkers say I'm Doom & Gloom, Eeyore, or Marvin the Paranoid Android.
Just for history, my first date ended with her in tears. The whole night was a disaster -- late for a hockey game, a bird raining crap on her nice jacket, and I was a geek who hadn't had a conversation with a female peer since I was 5.
My longest relationship ended because, I couldn't make her happy. That was also my last, and that was almost six years ago. I didn't date for five years. Just decided to work, get a degree, make a career. Corporate America shot that down.
Last year, I overcame a cancer scare, which basically brought me here. I'm still a bit fatalistic. Actually, I wouldn't have minded cancer; I could've lost some weight without exercise.
I left these last four paragraphs out of the bio. I think they'd scare people off a bit too much. | |

Posted: 6/23/2006 8:25:47 AM | Okay Bryantinfl, I'm trying to follow another piece of your advice, but I'm having problems finding 10 women a day that I feel inclined to write emails to...how do girls expect to get a quality guy if so many of them don't put the effort into finding a quality guy? I find that the majority of girls are either saying nothing useful in their profile or make comments like "I can't be bothered to write anything in here, so just ask" - that doesn't give us guys much to make a conversation out of and says to us "I want you to do all the work". Nobody wants a relationship where they have to do all the work.
Girls, there are quality guys out there but they're looking for quality girls and if you don't put the effort in to find them, they're probably not going to find you. You've got to meet us half way. | |

Ok - your profile is wonderful. Truly wonderful. I love both of your pictures. I would recommend, however, that you get about two or three more. At least one should be a full body shot.
The rest is great.
If you still don't get e-mails...start sending them out yourself by the gross!

Ok, I'm back.
Seriously dude...get a grip. Let me give you the good news first.
1. Your are very handsome.
2. You have wonderful photos
3. You are an amazing writer
4. Any woman would be lucky to be with you.
Now for the bad news.
1. Your folks and your coworkers are right.
2. NO ONE wants to be with a loser and that is how your are projecting yourself.
3. Negativity spread quicker than Cancer. Who in the hell would want to spend time with you if you are going to be so negative all the time?
4. I think you need to start over from scratch.
Search your soul for the happy man who is hiding somewhere inside your frame. Then use your God given talent for words to express yourself in a more positive light.
Take another photo, but this time smile - force yourself if you must.
